The ball hits behind the net at 3:25.

Here's a brighter video with the clock and video overlay.

But I venture you're still going to see what you want to see.

That one I can see it. Thanks

I've heard that at half time Colt tried to throw a seven yard pass to his dad and that it went high and to the right. He said his throwing arm was completely numb, even after the game.

Colt himself admitted that if he was playing RB or Safety he could have come back into the game and contributed. But as a QB if your throwing arm is gone, you are useless.

After that hit he took he was the third best QB on the team. The Longhorns made the only decision they could by playing their second stringer.

It's pretty crazy to me to see people throwing Colt under the bus for this one. The kid worked his arse off for eight years to get where he was and not only did he lose the Heisman he gets injured and loses the BCS Championship. I feel bad for the guy. He didn't deserve it, and fate played him a cruel hand.

Bradford was knocked out of that Texas game though wasnt he? Wasnt it early in that game too?

The point was Texas greatly struggled against two teams that had quality defenses, the only two teams they faced all year with a quality defense. Alabama ranked above those two teams and is probably going to put 4 or 5 guys into the NFL this year from their defense.

Still, Texas put 21 points on the board with a freshman QB for 99% of the game against this juggernaut defense. And that's an offense that gave Alabama at least 14 points.

With Colt? Texas probably walks away with a 10 point victory.

I didn't think before the game it would've be as evident but after see'ing the game I think it was pretty obvious.

It was unfortunate last night.

I thought Bama would win before the game. Nothing has changed my mind. I'm not good at what ifs.

well what happened to the number one running D 205 yards rushing for the tide

its like one PTI guys said - Bama would have played a different game if Colt would a played - the Tide's defense was better

Saban shut down his O after the first half

let you Texas guys cry about for EVER

Like I said, I am no good at what ifs. If it makes you feel better to believe in a fictional outcome, please be my guest.

let's see......with 3:00 to go bama was up by 3 whole points against a team being lead by a kid (deer) in headlights who was as raw as could be. this also takes into consideration 4 turnovers and an entire half of futility by Texas on offense. multiple three and outs.

can you imagine what that D could have done if they had gotten off the field some, and if alabama was forced to throw the ball?

Colt plays, and I think Texas absolutely destroys them.

I would agree with this. In my opinion, Alabama was the more complete team going into the game, and nothing I watched last night has changed my impression. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well Texas held up against the strength and physicality of Alabama, especially in the trenches.
