Its impossible to know who will need a QB...but if Aaron Rodgers retires after this year......JETS would have to be his #1 landing choice....they have everything in place.

Raiders have some nice key pieces and should be in win now.

Maybe Pittsburgh......
NYJ owe Rodgers 49 million in 2025 and 35 million in 2026. Then they are going to sign Prescott to 60 million. Plus in that time they have to address Hall and Wilson contracts.

Yeah, not happening.

Pittsburgh is the most logical destination. They are currently 3rd, 2nd, and 3rd in cap space the next three years.

It's not about what team he might go to. He's a choker.
You'd think 3 playoff collapses in a row would open a few more eyes than it has. Dak has shown that the moment is too big for him. Down 7-0 in the 1st quarter of a home playoff game before taking the field, the TV camera caught Dak with a thousand yard stare. In contrast, think Brady, think Mahomes.

I never said he did. All I Said was if Dak went to KC he'd have a ring. Mo Claiborne went and got a ring on the back of Mahomes why couldn't Dak?
The difference is that MO isn't a quarteback that runs and entire offense.

Only Mahomes could have pulled off that magic last season with those crappy receivers. I don't believe Dak could have duplicated that.

However, if your saying that Dak would be on the bench in KC while Mahomes was still quarterbacking then yes.....Dak would get a ring too

Key an eye on .....

* The Saints are likely to move on from Carr after this season
* Just recently read Mayfield's 2 years deal with the Bucs gives them an out after this if he flops
* Jets I agree .....this is likely Rodgers last year if they don't win the Super Bowl
* Seahawks ........considered moving on from Geno this year but didn't like their options

I'm willing to bet a red penny France can peel off at least 2-3 teams who would sign Dak today if he was available. This IMO is why he's in no hurry to sign an extension.

Providing Dak plays out this season and leaves Dallas. Where could he honestly go and win a Super Bowl in the next 3 years ? I don't think there's any place better than where he is now. Mostly all the contenders have a solid QB in place. Someone mentioned Las Vegas, but they aren't passing KC anytime soon. Every QB needy team has at least 2-3 roadblocks in their conference to deal with. Dak may not make a difference.
I agree, regardless of how frustrated we are with the Cowboys they give Dak his best chance at a championship. However, the longer he goes without being extended the more I think he wants to move on. If he were to re-sign, the fan abuse will just get worse. Don Meredith retired from the Cowboys primarily due to all the blame and fan abuse he received for the Cowboys playoff failures. I think Dak may want a fresh start somewhere else. It’s not a healthy situation when your fan base is so down on their teams starting QB. Dak would never receive the hatred from another fan base that he’s receiving in Dallas. If he’s not extended by the opener, then he’s likely walking after the season. If that happens, I don’t think he’ll ever talk about how great the fans are in Dallas. Lol

I can't say because I don't know how a real GM would structure those deals. Seems smart to structure Dak's contract to where it wouldn't hurt you those early years while Arod's contract is on the books.

That's exactly what i'm saying. He never specified if Dak would start or not.

he can win a superbowl anywhere but Dallas. there is zero chance any QB will succeed in Dallas.

and why are you worried about dak going somewhere and succeeding or not succeeding. you seem to care more about Dak and the outcome of his career. what are you trying to prove?

Dak leaving Dallas marks the end of his NFL career!
Anyone who thinks a team will give this clown and imposter of a pampered QB 60 million a year is wrong.
Not many teams out there (esp at the $ Todd wants for his client) will be interested in signing this FAILURE yes FAILURE whose claim to fame is beating on dog teams and folding and choking against real teams like the Bills,Niners(42-10 anyone), etc.
Jerry not giving him a new deal as he has seen and pampered this needs to be carried fraud of a QB long enough.
The only place on this planet where Dak is considered a top-10 QB is by the sold-out media and here in the CZ.
Open your eyes folks good old Jerry has set Dak up this coming season with lesser talent around him and it won't be pretty starting from week 1 in the Dog pound.
