Should Jerry take a pay cut since he has failed for 27 years straight? How about Stephan?

I doubt that Jerry even takes a salary.

Why should he? He held out and called jerry's bluff to get what he wanted. Why give anything back now? You think Jerry cutting him next year matters? He may never get another max contract but i'm gonna bet some team say carolina, tampa, NO, Colts, Atlanta, maybe even houston, probably forgetting a team or 2. But someone will pay Dak something. if Dak wanted a team friendly deal he would have taken one of the earlier offers. At this point the team has got to decide to let him play out the contract or extend him. I highly doubt they have the stones to cut him in 2024.

I'm a Dak fan, but he did the team no favours with his contract. He wanted a shorter contract but that leaves less room to stretch funds out, plus they have to keep space for his eventual extension (that was the thinking when it was signed, remains to be seen going forward). We lost Cooper because of his contract. We will lose 2 or 3 players this off season due to his contract. We'll have to rely on draft picks again to fill in the gaps. He did not do this team a favor, there's no reason they should do well by him once he's up.
