Do the Cowboys sign Quincy Carter to be a Vet backup?

Could happen!

No, it couldn't. Parcells said he "could not trust him."

You're kidding...right?

I would rather dig up a dead body and prop him up behind center than to touch Quincy. That chapter is finished...no need to re-live it all over again.

Why would you believe that Carter has regained enough of Parcells' trust for THAT to happen???

At that point he's #3, if he can beat Romo/Henson out so be it.

The risk is that Carter would prove undependable again. As a head coach, you would like to depend on your starting or backup quarterback to direct your offense, right?

Does anyone even know where Quincy IS?

Last I heard he was talking with Jon Gruden - that was almost two months ago.

I think Don Meredith has a better chance of coming back.

Hopefully as far away from Dallas as possible.

I heard he was training with Ricky Williams, of course it was to see who could hold it in the longest and not football.:D

I'll admit it, I am now hoping he stays healthy. ;)

Hos, I'm not hoping for a return of Vinny... I wasn't hoping for the signing of Bledsoe either. Hell, I'd rather go with either Henson OR Romo at this point. Not that they would put up better numbers than Bledsoe or even Vinny but because it would put us in a better position for '06 which I think is/was potentially our year...
