Everyone expects Zeke on first down and throws to Dez, Whit, and Beasley. I would put in some plays for TWill and Butler and lead with those. If we can establish that the defense has to concern themselves with those two as well, the next series will open the door for big plays when we go to the heavy hitters.

I would like nothing better than a fake hand off to Zeke and a long post pattern to Butler to start the first series. Even if it does not hit it sends a message that the team is going to be more vertical. Then as the DBs loosen, we hit em with Dez slants and Beasley drag routes and of course pounding the rock with Zeke. I want Dak to get his passes off quickly and slow the rush out of shear exhaustion. Then pound the crap out of them in the fourth quarter with Zeke, Rod, Darren and Alfred.

Wouldn't mind giving Zeke or Witten breaks here and there with those players out there
It will be interesting to see if they have any plays for Switzer. It would be great to see Beas and Switzer out there together like Edelman and Amendola did last year for the Pats. No one in this league can cover Beas one on one. So if we go five receivers the Gints are in trouble. The key is for Dak to get the ball out quickly and thwart their potent defensive line. So many opportunities with the weapons we have to make their lives miserable. I hope Linehan has his thinking cap on.

In the Pats KC game, Kansas City was using some very interesting plays. Lining up with a single back and running what appeared to be the option, but then tossing the ball back inside to a tight end (I think). I appeared KC was attacking at unexpected angles with this approach.

I'd like to see something a tad unconventional the Giants just would not expect. A couple of sweeps by Zeke would set up that inside play with perhaps Dez in motion coming back toward Dak and busting inside as the line separates the rush like Moses did the Red Sea. Leaving the middle for Dez to exploit Seems the linebackers would be busting tail to get outside for the sweep.

Keep in mind the Cowboys rarely return my calls or emails about special plays. Don't expect to see this.

You know we won't have all 4 RB active, right?

EE playing makes things more interesting because I'm curious as to how the Cowboys will attack the Giants' coveted Cover 5 scheme.

I can see a lot of 10 personnel and seeing if the Giants bring the blitz and if they do a lot of quick throws to Beasley and Switzer. We can have 6 blockers with the O-Line and EE that the other RB's on the team don't provide us.

Then if they stop blitzing us, I can see the 10 personnel with Butler in place of Switzer and to see if we get a favorable matchup with Butler deep on a #4 corner or a safety.

Harrison is such a force inside, you almost have to use more outside runs against this team. But even that can be tricky as both JPP and Vernon are good against the run. They lost Hankins so that should help a bit. Just need to stay balanced and stay in more manageable 3rd downs.

Also, Dez has to show up, regardless of the playcall. Only 2 receptions vs this team last season and 1 critical fumble.

I'd prefer yo just stuff it down there throats by running it inside every single play either until we score or turnover on downs. I want Zeke and that o line to set the tone. Yeah I know if it doesn't work we are screwed but I want to let the line and Zeke know it's all on you today

As long as we capitalize in the red zone we'll win. I think we move the ball btw the 20s fairly easy

Exactly. Dont get cute. Go with your bread and butter until forced to do otherwise and then go back to it to make sure.
Yep, thats what Garrett tried to do in the playoff game and look where it got us.

I just think people that expect Switzer to do a lot other than field punts in this game are dreaming.

It might be nice to imagine him running routes with Beasley at the same time, but I don't believe they have practiced it enough to use in games.

Given our typically conservative nature, we won't peel back that layer of the playbook for a while.

That is why Switzer's hamstring was a frustrating thing.

It kept us from seeing how that attack method might work.

Wanna see Dez, Twill, Beasley, Switzer in game same time. Good luck defending that.

I think Switzer is going to have a huge game. Giants LB's are horrible and with our TE's, Beasley and now Switzer we are going to give them fits underneath.
