What does RB stand for?

when you have to hide behind blocking, the gig is up. Game over.

can’t you win the argument on running and catching? Says it all.
I know there's more to an effective RB than stats....I also know Pollard is not a full-time player. If you don't see that, it's because of your obsession with Zeke hatred. Go back to your video games and do some more research.

Lol….again you have to change the subject to full
Load back.

pollard isn’t that. But he can easily handle half the load and more in big games. Zeke would also be better with less Carries.

common sense.

The stats show that pollard does more. 3 years running.

there is no judgement. These are facts. If the truth bothers you, that’s your problem. Most fans agree with Roy.

This is the problem you have too high of an opinion on your opinions. Your ego is not your friend here.
Only the haters agree with you.

Too me its simple, TP deserves more touches in this offense, why does that have to be at Zeke's exspense....KM needs to stop scheming for the 5th WR to get touches and replace those with touches for TP...while Gallup is out KM better have a good Zeke/TP on the field at the same time scheme....

article after article all calling for more pollard. Even you just admitted you want more.

stats are facts buddy. You can’t escape the facts. You want full games showing both guys getting around 13 Carrys each? Plenty of those.

Articles are just opinions like on here.
Stats can be skewed. Look at the real value of which RB is more valuable to the overall offense.
But you are a blind hater. It is that simple.

I agree is gone. But I dont think even Jerry is dumb enough to keep Zeke here past this year.

As far as Moore you guys have it all wrong. Its Zeke that keeps running up the middle. Its all he can do. Thats the predictability. IF you were Moore would you call lots of outside plays for Zeke? Zeke can bounce it outside any time he likes. Does he do it? Pollard does because he can.
I am talking about a obvious off tackle run play. You can tell when a O-Line pulls to block. And JJ is in love with Elliot. Don’t be surprised if Elliot gets 2000 all purpose yards he redoes his contract. I do not care. He can cut Elliot now for all I care. I hate the feed me thing. I know it can fire up the team and he claims it’s not a individual thing but I take it that way and it turned me away from the start..

He is the best FB on the team I will give him that. Both running the ball and receiving Pollard is the better back. Zeke can block for Pollard and do some short yardage and GL stuff. Mop up duty.
There is nothing in Pollard’s playing history that shows he can carry the full work load over an extended period. They should have packages that features Pollard and his talent, but Zeke is still the best starting RB on the team, even if he is not the player he used to be. Dallas made the mistake of giving Felix Jones a full workload and he lost much of his big play ability. He became an average RB. They don’t need to ruin Pollard by making the same mistake.

who cares if he can’t carry a full load?

and no zeke is not the best back. Pollard has proven that.

In other words, I think Jerry's looking down the road a bit at Zeke's future with the team.
Jerry might extend him again, for even more $ !!!!
He will extend dak too!

Pollard will be used sparingly till contract is up, then he just wont be resigned, after a low ball offer lol.

For those that didnt want to admit that Jerry pushes Zeke on his coaching staff, it should be clear now. Jerry is absolutely obsessed with Zeke and would never allow anything other than a dominantly featured role in the run game and even the passing game.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...has-to-be-the-focus-in-cowboys-rushing-attack

Interesting comments from #Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @nflnetwork, saying that Zeke Elliott “has to be the focus” in the run game. “He has to be the focal point” based on his work in the run game and pass game. “There is room for (Tony) Pollard while Zeke is in there.”

Speaking about childhood development, there is a label for when kids begin developing their personalities, yet have not developed the ability to use discernment in acting out.

They call that the terrible two's.

This thread is evidence of an adult version of that tantrum-filled epoch in a child's life.

I think IF (notice the caps) the O-Line produces this season and Elliot stays healthy he could get close to 2000 all purpose yards. 1000-1500 will be easy on the ground. But I could be wrong if we use Pollard the way he should be..

Nobody is saying full workload. But needs to be increased more than trying to hammer Zeke up the middle or a dump off in the flat , where he can’t get the corner. At this point in Zeke’s career , do you really think defenses are worried about trying to stop Zeke? Do you think when Pollard is on the field , defenses now have another weapon to account for? Like breaking one at anytime, run or pass. That keeps the defense honest and allows for the entire playbook to open up. Zeke is not a concern for defenses.

Totally disagree. Pollard has emerged as a versatile RB & his development has made him a candidate to do what was once unthinkable.

The first four seasons of Elliott’s career were spectacular. He was arguably the best back in the NFL, but his production has sharply declined over the past two years. That said, Pollard would easily be the starter for many other teams if released today. One more season & he'll be Dallas's new #1 back. And he won't cost Jerey a staggering $90 million to keep out performing Elliott!
