If Jerry actually stepped aside, how much better would this team be?

As much as I like to think it would be a change for the better I don’t think it would effect a change at all.
This team has no strong leaders. The coaches aren’t disciplinarians; there is not one player who would callout another player for dogging it…can anybody imagine Dak getting in CD’s face like Aikman would do to his teammates?
These so-called “leaders” say the right things to the media, but don’t walk the walk…it’s easy to talk, but sadly, that is the current culture of the Cowboys and the crux of the underlying dysfunction.

Welcome to the Cowboys Zone .To answer your question,Jerry has a huge ego and he is not a football guy so, he is likely to mess it all up as usual .When you fire a head coach who just won you back to back ,SUPER BOWLS you are capable of anything.
He has proven repeatedly that he cares abvout one thing: Jerry Jones. His fingers are in everything... concessions, concession distribution, filling the stadium with various events... all the while starving the one thing that brought him here. He is NOT a football guy. He's a promoter, that's all...

Depends on how hands on Stephen is. Would the HC and GM actually be able to pursue quality free agents within reason or would we still be stuck basically building only through the draft and only paying 'Our Guys'
