Quinn was a coordinator, not the HC. Name a single HC since 1995 that went on to achieve great success with another team as a HC...really killed Quinns career![]()

Quinn took a team to super bowl. Was successful as a DC in Seattle with legion of boom. His defense in Dallas had lot of turnovers.really killed Quinns career![]()
Off the top of my head: Andy Reid, Bill Belichick (cheap one but counts), Dick Vermeil (huge gap between jobs), Jon Fox, Tom Coughlin (does he count?), Jon Gruden, Tony Dungy, Mike Shanahan...at this point I'd probably have to go to the internet.Quinn was a coordinator, not the HC. No, he wasn't offered the Dallas job.Yet, he was offered the Dallas job again and rejected it..........meaning he would rather have no job than work for this team another year.
I did say a Month ago that he was interested In New O. and they were interested in him .No, he wasn't offered the Dallas job.
They never even discussed salary at all.
So, Jerry never even made an offer.
Mike's agent smartly went into overdrive selling wolf cookies like he was a lock in Chicago and turned down Dallas when in fact he simply ran out of road on his deal in Dallas without any contract extension discussion.
Likely because Jerry bought what the board has been selling for 2 years about the patterns this offense runs and saw the utter lack of separation for anyone not named CeeDee Lamb.
I've been hearing Mike to NO but again that may his agent feeding the news cycle moreso than reality.
I could see him getting the Saints or Jacksonville jobs. Johnson to the Bears was a lock since week 10.Means maybe it’s a sign he not that great of head coach to all the other teams !
Maybe he's not a great coach any longer, but as Troy Aikman said, when you look at McCarthy's record, no one can make the case he isn't one of the 32 most qualified people for the job.Means maybe it’s a sign he not that great of head coach to all the other teams !
You have no idea. Everything I've read says that MM rejected the idea of an incentive based contract, having Witten on staff, and the term of the contract. If he had agreed, the job was his again. The cowboys had no plan B. They thought they could resign Mike. If the Cowboys were not going to resign him , why did they exercise there exclusive negating rights for 1 week? They could have just let him walk, but they didn't bc Jerry wanted him back but on different terms. No, he wasn't offered the Dallas job.

Good point against all odds he washed the Cowboys stink off. Pretty amazing.really killed Quinns career![]()
Coaches that were HC in Dallas...... I should have pointed that out. Every HC since Jimmy never got another HC gig anywhereOff the top of my head: Andy Reid, Bill Belichick (cheap one but counts), Dick Vermeil (huge gap between jobs), Jon Fox, Tom Coughlin (does he count?), Jon Gruden, Tony Dungy, Mike Shanahan...at this point I'd probably have to go to the internet.

Pete Carroll says hello.Quinn was a coordinator, not the HC. Name a single HC since 1995 that went on to achieve great success with another team as a HC...
That clarification makes much more sense. I imagine Parcells could have got another job and I also imagine he would have been successful. That is probably the closest. Did Garrett get another HC interview even or did he jump on the New Jersey Giants OC position?Coaches that were HC in Dallas...... I should have pointed that out. lol he could have come back on a 2-3 year dealNo, he wasn't offered the Dallas job.
