If McCarthy doesn't get a job

Means maybe it’s a sign he not that great of head coach to all the other teams !
He isn't, he was just the cheap **** who was prepared to say 'yes Jerry'.....however he did manage three 12-5 seasons and his BIGGEST gift was to highlight the dysfunctional Jerry Show by walking away....even without a job to walk into.

McCarthy in New Orleans looked good a month ago. He has Carr, a poor man's Qak. And Spenser Rattler who left Oklahoma after some failings.

Kellen would do better at Jacksonville with no pressure to win which allows him time to understand the game better while getting a taste of being a head coach.

He'd be in the pressure cooker here to deal with Booger, the media, and the disgruntled fans.

Hope he thinks about all that before jumping in Booger's fire pit.
The pressure in Jax is huge. Owner threw crazy money at a QB and wants his ROI. He’ll fire a coach without regard for how many years are left on his contract. Sign with the Cowboys and a head coach can lose every game and Jerry will keep him until the contract is over. Jax still has the challenge of selling tickets. Dallas and New Orleans are sold out in perpetuity. If the Eagles win the Super Bowl Moore will get a HC job. Otherwise he’s a tough sell to a fan base.

If I recall the Washington opening Quinn was last resort not the first call they made . KM was let go in Chargers job Harbaugh did not want him . It’s nice having Barkley & AJ Brown DaVonta Smith Goedert the longest serving OL coach in football with the best OL in the game .

In Wash the GM supplied Quinn Six starters on defense in one FA off-season of “grocery shopping “ plus the NFL rookie of the yr in Daniels .

Jerry’s a huge problem obviously here as well
Once upon a time, Dak Prescott was the NFL Rookie of the Year, but we didn't fare any better in the playoffs that year because of that "huge problem" that we have. Do I blame Garrett for that? Some. But even Garrett got an offensive coordinator job after he left here. He failed at it because of the issues with his scheme that we saw when he was here and because he didn't have a QB as good as Romo or Prescott to carry it.

I'm just not that big on criticizing the coaches that we had anymore because I think they have been coaching with one hand tied behind their back. That doesn't help them be in demand when they leave here because they leave here after failing, but I consider Jerry Jones more responsible for them failing than I do the coaches. I mean, even Bill Parcells couldn't win a playoff game when he was here, and he won one in every other stop he made by his fourth year. In fact, he had reached the AFC Championship Game by then in his other three stops.
