KMoore is one of the top OCs in the NFL.
stats prove it.
hes ready to come home.
See here's my problem. Our team shares some of those stats Moore has accumulated, but when we mention those same stats, I'm told "stats don't matter" or they're called "garbage time" stats vs "weak competition".
So I guess the goal posts move for Moore. Yeah ok....
With that said, if Moore was truly that good, why didn't he have success with the Chargers? Why was he let go? I don't care what new coach comes in, if Moore was a great coordinator, he would be retained.
Lastly.... my only problem with Moore is his "in-game awareness" and "situational play calling".
(Example) Remember the times our running game was averaging 4, 5, 6 yards a pop? Yeah. In those same games, we would get info 2nd and short or goal.... Moore would try to get cute and call three straight pass plays in those situations. Tell me what's wrong with that picture....
REAL offensive coordinators will continue to run the ball down your throat until you prove you can stop it. Remember what the Bills did to our defense?? Moore wasn't intelligent enough to keep pounding the opponents with something they couldn't stop.
If you're averaging between 4 and 6 yards a carry and you have a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th with 2 or 3 yards to gain.... what would an intelligent coordinator do? Yep, continue to run the damn ball. Moore would call a pass play or some dumb *** WR reverse.
Did i also mention how Moore would continue to call useless pass plays in games we're leading late? Intelligent coordinators pounding the rock late in games to protect the lead. Not Kellen Moore. He'll no i don't want hime here...
I'm not going to let being aided by an All-Pro talent laden Eagles offense fool me!
