No, way i understand it, the players would get a restriction on them for this year.

All those players you mentioned would become Restricted Free Agents, and Dallas would own their rights. Dallas would have to place a tender on all of them, where any team could send draft picks (depending on the tender) and a contract offer, which Dallas would have the opportunity to match.

Thanks for the response. I guess the best case scenario for Cowboy fans is for an agreement to be reached sometime after whatever deadline is set for free agency.

Yeah no doubt. I'm almost positive Jerry will get a long-term deal done with Austin and maybe Spears and/or Sensabaugh. Hatcher and Bowen will probably get tendered with a 2nd rounder.
