If Norv gets the boot in S.D, do you fire Garrett and replace him with Turner? I think I would...Garrett has consistently shown he cannot make adjustments when things are not going so well.

Yes......................................... REPLACE GARRETT WITH NORV...

Why would you want a coach that lost in the first round of the playoffs?
Oh. by the way, Norv is totally and completely overrated.

it has nothing to do with impatience

no one is talking about cutting losses after 1 season. this is guy with no coaching history who is going on season 4 working on the fly with us

i always see guys like antonio bryant and others who took years after leaving here to finally get it together. thats not even counting the time we spent here trying to develope them

if garrett leaves this yr then breaks out like a todd haley did well after the fact i could care less. with the talent we have on offense another coordinator could at worst step in be as productive

You guys would've fired Landry after 4 years? It took him 12 years to win a Superbowl. Would you have fired Jimmy after the 1st 2 years. I think with no experience coming in Garrett has done pretty well and is GETTING BETTER, that's why you keep him! Look at what they've done this year in losing T.O.s production and the emergence of Mile Austin. Miles was pretty much on his own with Witten because Roy Williams and Crayton are so inconsistant, if you don't think Garrett played a major role in that success you're nuts.

Norv Turner is the kind of guy you need working with Romo.

That's the one thing I dislike about our current offensive staff. For one, I absolutely loathe Wade Wilson as the quarterbacks coach. I don't understand how he continues to be employed as an NFL coach. And even with Garrett, I don't get the sense that he's a huge asset for Romo.

I'm hesitant to axe Garrett based on today's game, because the offensive line pretty much inhibited anything from getting done. But I do worry that the game took on the look of our other games in which the offense struggled to produce points. I also wonder why Garrett has been able to introduce some great wrinkles some weeks (such as last week), while creating a seemingly stale game plan with no ability to adjust other weeks (today). I think he's an above average play caller, but not the budding genius we hoped. I wouldn't fire him for just anyone, but if a guy like Norv did somehow become available, I would consider changing directions.

It took Roy getting hurt for ginger to even think about getting Miles involved in the game plan.

How is he getting better? We had the 14th ranked scoring offense, we must have been miserable before our ginger savior came.

Maybe Jerry wouldn't let that happen (Miles getting to start) in fact with as much money Jerry has tied up in Roy I would be surprised if Jerry forced Roy on the coaches, just my opinion though.

First of all don't be too caught up in rankings, this isn't the BCS. Second, yes our offense was that bad. I remember the days of Quincy, Testeverde and Bledsoe and I remember feeling good if they didn't get shut out. So yeah there were times before Red got here that were pretty bad.

No, Sparano had a top 5 group here. Ginger inherited a hell of an offense,

Yeah he did a good job, but the last time I checked his offense didn't win a playoff game here or in Miami.

i dont think anyone said we want garrett gone because he hasnt won a super bowl. where did anyone say that? was landry looking as ssupect as garrett was for 12 yrs? are we really comparing the 2?

its because of questionable play calling and inablilty to adjust to opposing defenses every season that hes been here

we hired him as a offensive coordinator, one with no track record and he repeatedly shows his inexperience. he feast on bad defenses but againgst some of the better team in the leagues more often then not he has floundered, even called out by opposing teams defensive players.
.
your talking about what hes done with no T.O. this offense was struggling until miles emerged and developed into the guy we thought he could be

austin saved this offense not red. if williams doesnt get hurt austin is probably still on the bench and god knows how we finish the season.

why dont we talk about what hes done in big spots with one of the better offenses in the league. top to bottom how many teams over the past few seasons can you name with more talent then us

we have a o-line full of pro-bowlers and had owens a pro bowl wr, witten at te, roy who we thought was a pro bowl talent and an emerging star in austin

this was a talented offense before he even got here. even when we had parcells who forced conservative playcalls were much better then average. and that was with less talent then we have now. he didnt inherit a bunch of bums

look around the league and you see tons of teams doing more with less yet like today we put up 3 points with the talent we have on offense. the protection was terrible yes but so was his playcalling

look at miami's talent and compare it to ours

lets be real its not even close

he took a laughing stock team that had one win to a division title the next yr

even this yr everyone expected a let down because of it and it did happen. but everyone who can look at their roster knows mia over achieved greatly. even still he had them in the hunt again this season

look at mia roster compared to all the teams in the playoffs. they had no buisness even being in contention yet they were. the job hes done there has been nothing short of remarkable so far

they have avg qb play, no stud wr or te. even their defensive core is not all that good. their team is full of rejects mostly guys we cut and your really gonna talk about whats hes done there in a negative light:laugh2:
