You know, I thought Martz would be good as the HC, but after watching his act in SF, I don't want him anywhere near Romo.Future;2519590 said:I think Mike Martz would do a great job with all the weapons we have here. But I'd prefer someone whose a little more run first.

having holmgren would mean cleaning everyone out and starting over.Don Corleone;2519600 said:I don't want him here, but Holmgren would be the obvious choice for dealing with a QB that has a penchant for throwing the ball up for grabs.

that is a far fetched idea.
plus then romo and the rest of the offense have to learn a whole new offense from the ground up.
It's not so much the on-field stuff, which can be suspect.Future;2519599 said:Eh, I don't like him as an HC really...what did he do in SF that you didn't like? I juust didn't follow the 49ers enough, shame on me:laugh2:

I also think Holmgren's offense suits our personnel very well.
I agree that it is far fetched, but when you think about Holmgren's success in dealing with Favre, he seems to be good fit for Romo.
Romo isn't going anywhere. JJ has too much invested in him. JJ will do anything to make sure Romo succeeds.
