I’m replacing McCarthy with the Oc from the lions. And Dak with Drake maye. Regardless of what it costs to get up to the top 5. Obviously it would be a lot but maye/Williams are Uber talented and a young OC like Johnson could mould them into something special. Look what he’s done with Goff lol
Wasn't Lance suppose to Uber talented when he was drafted? Drafting college QBs can be a crapshoot. Dallas would have to give up three #1 to move up.

People tend to ignore our weaknesses and claim we are better than we are.
Yep

And our fans don’t often discuss how our opponents have improved . The focus is always on how we have .

Often other teams upgrade more than we do. Look at Detroit. Many saw it coming . More probably recognizing it now .

Now should be the time. If they see a weakness yes overpay for a really good piece to shore it up. Don't be scared to win Stephen Jones.

I've seen a few people say this recently, including Jesse Holley on Hangin' With The Boys. The more I think about it, I agree.

The Cowboys have a talented roster, a veteran QB, a Super Bowl winning head coach, ARod is in the AFC now, and TB12 retired. On paper, this is probably their best chance to win the NFC since the 1990s. Obviously a lot can happen - injuries, etc. - but that is true of any team. They'll have to do something wiith Dak next year, either extend his contract or eat a massive cap hit, Micah and CeeDee are going to get paid, Martin and Tyron aren't getting any younger, so the clock is ticking. Jerry will be 81 this year - his clock is ticking, too.

So if they don't win the conference and get to Vegas this season, when will they? How much more needs to go their way to get over the hump? This is a big season for many in the organization. If Mike and Dak don't get this team any further than what we've seen recently, I think changes will be coming. What do you think?
As much as I want to agree with you there are stronger teams in the NFC that people are overlooking like the lions and the giants and maybe Minnesota and others that think that we're just gonna walk all over everyone and that San Francisco is the only team in our way.. Just because Aaron Rodgers is gone and Tom Brady left doesn't mean anything really there's new teams ready to step up..

And by the way it's injuries and attrition that really is gonna pick who lasts the longest out of all the top six teams in the NFC.. Seriously that was our issue last year overcoming injuries the constant changes around the offensive line in the run game and on defense having to cover up injuries by the time we got to the second round of the playoffs and seeing a really great defense we didn't have the energy or the players to overcome them....

Usually the team standing at the end is one of the better teams that had the least amount of injuries and attrition on their team...

That's where some people say you need a little luck along the way who you lose when you lose them and what teams you're playing like the Eagles got to see the giants and a undermanned 49er team had to be one of the easiest path to the Super bowl by any team in the NFC in a very long time.. They were relatively the most healthy team in the league most of the year and got their players back at the right time and then saw a couple teams that weren't as strong and ready for them..

So will we have that kind of luck this year to go along with the talent that remains to be seen we haven't had anything but bad luck lately like I'm waiting for that black cat to come back in New York this Sunday night or have the lights go out or a weather incident to affect the game right in the middle of a part of the game where we have all the momentum and then it just gets pooped on.. Not trying to be negative but that's what it feels like every year.. We need that good luck not that bad luck.. Yes luck has a lot to do with sports..

Lance was a project when he was drafted. Maye and Williams are not.

Yea, I’m not sure why everyone doesn’t see this .
I would love to see the outcome of the last SF game with a healthy Pollard. We were in that game even after he got hurt, but the whole team seemed to deflate after his injury. SF didn't impress me in that game, but once again we found a way to lose.
