Imagine if Dallas let Dak play out this season before discussing his contract....

We're 3-5, looking really hard at a 5-6 win season at most. Dak is hurt for several weeks and is playing like junk.

What would his market be in 3 months?

Instead, he has a $240 million deal at $60 per year that doesn't begin until the 2025 season.

With this level of negotiation skills, how did Jerry ever get wealthy? I know, I know, one day he was out shooting food, and up from the ground came a bubblin' crude.

Those of us who advocating for Jones to let his contract ride out aren't very happy.

Instead............
The biggest pushback people would give is they’d say “YOU CAN DRAFT A BUST TOO DAK MVP RUN BETTER ROUTES”

I just wanted a new group of guys to root for, I was done watching dak play football, I’ve seen it,

well, I would venture to say the market would be about the same or very close. if you expect it to have dropped to 30M, then you don't understand NFL...the fans here are emotional and they are looking through a needle hole, into a key hole and coming to conclusions.

you don't think people around NFL know about the mess that's the cowboys? the ******** jerry talks about all the time. the lack of talent on this team, lack of FA spending and coaching situation? they know heck of a lot more about it and why its a mess that it is right now....they would know its not all on the QB, as we have seen a lot of QBs, get large contracts when they were not even average.

and at the end of it, Cousins got a 45M contract. who is 36 years old. and with salaries going up, then his market would be above 50M, probably 55-60M.....

and Jerry made this mess. then he would have gone into the 2025 season with no QB on the roster!!! imagine that.....it has never happened in the history of NFL.

He would have still got paid. I mean Cousins blew his foot out and still got paid. It’s the NFL
this, why even play these mental gymnastics, Dak was getting paid in FA regardless....the only hope we had was Dak was done with Jerry and that didnt happen...

If Dallas would have let it play out, then this franchise would be in so much better shape, in terms of hope and optimism. Now all the Dak Cult leaders and supporters have drifted away and this team is screwed for 4 years. Jerry listened to the cult and not football people. Hopefully Jerry starts to see empty seats and takes the blame for keeping this bum.

The irony is certainly thick.

We waited too long to sign him a more reasonable rate had we extended him sooner. And yet we didn’t wait long enough to see how he’d actually follow up his performance last year.

A dollar short, a day late. Typical for the Cowboys’ football side of the operation.

It would be Obvious that Dak is not worth any amount of money . He's washed !!
