Eh I don’t see Jones paying big money for a new defensive coordinator, that’s just not how they’ve moved. But theoretically yes.

We have paid out big money for coaches all across the board to hire to re-signing ..HC. ..OC .. .DC ...

is this is not a discussion board for hypothetical discussions ..?
.

It is, but we have a lot bigger fish to fry in the next couple of weeks. This is a discussion for the off-season but feel free to engage now. My focus is on the playoffs.

Dude relax! Lol No one has set any rules if you want to talk about Dan Quinn’s future while the season is still going on feel free! His future won’t be settled until the off-season, so have fun speculating, while most of us are looking forward to the playoffs.

lol ... i could be recommending same suggestion to you.
its'just not set in stone here.
if it's not for you to engage and 'speculate " ..then ok,
if it is, then feel free to recommend yourself .
And it's not just Dan Quinn,.. ditto the same with the ever going Payton to Dallas rumors.

Do you see anyone else making a big deal over this but you? This isn’t worth a discussion. You must have had a rough New Year’s Eve. Lol

I think maybe Harris since he has been in aggressive schemes like JJ and Capers.

Ryans is an option if he gets the Assistant Coach tag because he is not going to be a hc in sf.

I think Harris is a good choice. He's been excellent too, and he knows the Quinn system.

If we lose Dan Quinn to Broncos new HC gig, ... who would you want to prefer to replace him as

the new DC ?

Should we hire from within the organization ? ... or hire new DC from outside ?

Whitt most likely. Possible he follows Quinn as his DC, but not likely. Dallas would be a better job for him. I think Durde would probably be Quinns DC

Bring back Kris Richards. He was great in Seattle, Dallas, and with the Saints. The Saints have had great defense the last 2 years with Richards and secondary has played well.

But, if Joe Whitt does not leave with Quinn, it will be Joe Whitt.

The problem with getting Fangio is security........as a rule, the standard contracts for coordinators are 3 years. MM only has 2 year left on his original deal. So the attract Fangio, you're probably going to either extend MM or sign him for more years than MM has left OR both.
My guess is any new DC better have a solid plan for Parsons.........
