If Shedeur Sanders is there in the 6th, draft him.

I say why not at this point. The Cowboys are the one organization equipped to handle Shedeur and Deion. Probably one of the very few benefits of having Jerry as the owner because the relationship he has with the Sanders family is already strong

The notion that he hasn’t been picked is because of his father is ridiculous. These billion dollar football organizations aren’t going to pass on someone who they think can help their team and is in need of a QB. Not saying Shedeur has a bad attitude as I don’t know him, but obviously many teams feel that way. I spent over 20 years in the military and I can tell you 1 bad apple does spoil the whole bunch. If you let it. We never let it.
You keep believing that it’s your right. Sanders was easily a top 3 quarterback prospect. He should have been drafted on the second day.

Could be, but clearly there are guys that have worse arm talent that were taken before him, this is MUCH DEEPER than arm talent. He ruffled a lot of feathers, and if so, maybe he got what he deserved???
I think it is that. The talent is good but not enough to deal with the noise. Deion is a loud mouth. His son is no doubt entitled. If he showed that in the interviews it probably tanked him. He paid for it.

Hey, it's been 3 decades, I'm not to proud to do something different. Anything that works, I'm all for. I already mentioned Jerry drafting a 1st round QB but obviously he's never going to do that, so...

Takes too long in the pocket, average arm, and brings a Hollywood camera crew with him everywhere. Not worth it. But I wish him the best of luck.

Based on what? There is a reason he is dropping. Keep underestimating Milton. I would draft Shedeur though. He is more talented then Dak was as a thrower but I don’t know if he can even be Geno Smith. I want him to succeed because I believe this is a personal attack on his father.

Instead he’s a 6th round pick joining the Cleveland LOL Browns QB room with Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco, Kenny Picket and Dillon Gabriel.

well good luck to sanders he is going to quarterback wasteland that the browns are. maybe he can turn around and finally be the quarterback the browns need.

Deion was on a talk show not long ago and said a number of things that I’m sure rubbed NFL teams the wrong way. He was asked if there was a team he wanted his son to play for and he said no but there’s a couple of teams he wouldn’t allow him to play for. Deion sounded like his usual arrogant self. He didn’t do Shedeur any favors. I’m sure some of Deion’s arrogance has rubbed off on him.

If Shedeur Sanders falls and is there in the 6th round when we pick, we need to draft him.
I haven't made a post in over 3 years, I usually only add to threads so bare with me and hear me out. 6 quick points.

1st. Most 6th rounders are low risk draft picks that the Cowboys can easily move on from if it doesn't work out, including financially.

2nd. Have Shedeur/Milton/Grier battle it out in training camp...whomever wins is the backup, and move the 2nd option to the practice squad and the 3rd option cut.

3rd. Shedeur is a 1st to 2nd round talent, I've watched all of his games for the last 2 years. He's accurate, has a strong arm, not the strongest, but much stronger than Rush, and very accurate. He's smart, just takes a lot of sacks, and at times, he tried to force it to Travis Hunter because Hunter was always barking at him to throw him the ball

4th. He can sit and learn behind Dak for a couple of years, if not sooner.

5th. This sends a clear message to Dak, put up or you're out as soon as we can get you out. Having Shedeur behind Dak will either LIGHT A FIRE, or he is gone.

6th. If Dak happens to pan out, you can simply trade or cut Shedeur. But if Dak doesn't work out, maybe Shedeur takes you places, or move on from him. Either way, we move on from Dak if he doesn't improve, have a pretty good QB moving forward, or cut our losses and draft the next stud.

Conclusion: Milton is a 6th round draft pick, so no loss if you have to move on from either one, and that includes Grier. Seriously, I don't need another 6th round DT stinking up the joint, Shedeur is definitely worth a 6th round pick no matter what we think of his dad.
We dodged that ego bullet that is the Sanders.
I imagine Neon already has the browns on speed dial

One day, some people will come to the self-realization that certain hypotheticals will not happen with Mad Genius. Same guy brought in Tony Banks to mentor Quincy Carter. Then proceeded to kick Banks to the curb--before the regular season.

So, yeah. MG will draft a high-profile rookie to shadow his $60 million AAV investment for even two seconds. That is a realistic expectation based on nothing comparative to what Jones has ever done in the past at the position.

Some people will continue believing Jerry Jones really thinks like they do. Good luck with that.
