If T.O. comes here, does that mean our offensive philosophy will change?

Bill Parcells has usually been a run first guy. That is his approach to football. Hard, smashmouth offensive football with strong defensive play.

On the otherhard, T.O. has played on pass first teams his whole career. First with the 49ers and then with the Eagles. This tells me that either T.O. has matured enough to accept a contract with a team that might not be feeding him the ball at all times or that Bill is going to be much more aggressive this year when it comes to offensive playcalling.

I say we see a lot more vertical passing plays and a more aggressive approach period. (If T.O. comes here, of course.)

If this does happen we need to seriously fix our offensive line. It is still a serious weakness.

All the more reason I don't see TO coming to Dallas. No way has he matured "that" much in 2 months. Plus Parcells is way too old to change his ways now. Recalling numerous occassions last season where I felt we should've passed more and he stuck with the run. I know TO's a game breaker but we were very talented on offense passing wise and he STILL would'nt pass~:star:

Owens is by far the best open field runner at the WR in the NFL. Once you get the ball in his hands, there is ALWAYS a chance that he will break one for a TD. I hate the man but I've got to respect his skills.

I would spend as much time upgrading the OL though, because as soon as Bledsoe can't get him the ball as much as he wants it or throws INTs because he's under pressure, TO is going to have another blow up on the sideline. He had the balls to do it to McNabb, he certainly will give a lot worse to Bledsoe.

We still have to address the offensive line, and unless we do that we can forget about Bledsoe and TO hooking for big plays left and right. The offense will struggle at times just like it did last year with no running game as well.
