If the Cowboys keep losing would you consider trading Zack Martin?

People keep bringing up our aged stars as trade potential . You won’t get anything of real value in return .

People keep saying "trade him to KC so he can get a ring"

One: do you mean that Dallas should give up a 4th rounder or so to get some team to takenhim off our books? Maybe a horrible team desperate for draft picks would. Surely you know WE aren't getting any picks for him...right?

Two: even if we cut him, and he signed with KC, he'd just be a backup bench player there. We are one of the few teams whose OLine is so bad, that he's a starter on it.

Kinda depressing, but true

LOL trade him for what does he have value? All of his salary has been kicked to future void years. The time to trade him was back when he was holding out looking for that one last pay day. A real franchise would have found someone back then to take him off our hands and we probably could have gotten a real draft pick in return. Instead we do what we always do. hang onto our "stars" for dear life and eat dead cap down the road.

Looking forward to his 17 million dollar cap hit in 2026 the year after his contract expires. Can you imagine almost 6% of your salary cap paying for a freaking guard who is no longer on the team. We truly are a joke of a franchise.

I wouldn’t just because A) you’re probably getting next to nothing. B) you’re paying your qb a ton of money the next few years, I wouldn’t go messing with the OL for a 6th round pick.

The O-line is already trash.... so it won't make a difference if it's even worse trash.

No one is going to trade for an aging player who’s looking washed up and may end up retiring after this season. Parsons is the player we need to trade.
Our best player full of a team with bad players. Great plan!

Would you consider trading Zack Martin to a contender? It's apparent that this will be his last season in the NFL, and it'd be cool to see him get a ring.

If not, who would you put on the trading block?
Id try to trade him right now. This season is all about clearing cap and rebuilding the team.

But to me trading him comes at least 2 season too late. Now he wont have a lot of value left because his play is significantly declining.

This is the same story as with Tyron Smith. Whom we should have traded 3-4 years earlier. At that time we would have gotten at least a high 2nd if not a first rounder for him.

Though Martin is on the downside, without him.......you're waiting for people to get hurt now. Not cool.

There are many on here who are adamant that that's the way to do. Just push everything out. The cap is a myth.

We're probably still paying for Jaylon Smith somehow..

No one would want him unless they were desperate for an OG. But frankly, I think most backups can do the job Zack is doing at this point.

The plan worked out in 1989. Parsons was having a down year before the injury. He only has one sack and teams have figured out how to neutralize him. He’s going to be looking to be the highest paid defensive player in the league. If we pay him, we won’t have money to do anything in free agency again. If we trade him we’ll have extra picks and extra money to build the DL.

They don’t do FA so you might as well sign your best players.
