7 years. Let’s hope something has changed. At least the defense shows up.

Dak was effective because we had a great running game and thus Moore was able to call a balanced game, so Dak wasn’t asked to perform above his capabilities.

Dak is equally ineffective when teams shut down our run game and force him to beat them with his arm.

I think the fortunes of our team lay more with the OL; if we can control the line of scrimmage we can remain balanced in our attack.

This is even more important when we play teams with strong running games since our run defense is suspect and we routinely get shredded by such teams; therefore, we will have to outscore them to win and we cannot do that with poor OL play.

What if the Tony Pollard that played yesterday stays home?

We’d have beaten the Bears by multiple scores with Malik Davis alone, so I guess I don’t get your point.

Dallas threw the ball MUCH more explosively and efficiently than Chicago and scored a defensive touchdown. You just don’t lose games like that in the NFL.

So Dallas wins and it's because of Pollard, but if they lose, we know whose fault it is.

Be careful not to travel too far down the agenda trail, where everything you say becomes agenda filtered.

It's okay to admit Dak played well versus Chicago without anointing him as an elite QB. Both can be true.

I just hope they keep calling those quick routes to the tight ends against the pressure and stick to running the ball down their throats. Leave at home the long, slow crossing routes and come backs that take forever and have the QB running for his life.

We can beat anybody. He was leaner and found every hole in the defense. If that Dak shows up against the eagles we win period.

True.

The Dak that showed up yesterday was elite. He elevated his team when he needed to.

But right now, I would like to see him just keep driving the bus. They need to be sort of vanilla until the playoffs, and lean on the defense.

Let's be fair here. No one had scored 30 points on the Bears. Dallas put up 49.

That's not anyone's agenda, it's just a fact of the matter.
Look at their opposing offenses. They played Trey Lance in the rain, 27 put up by a subpar Green Bay team, Houston, Giants, 29 put up by Minnesota, Washington w/ Wentz, and Jones/Zappe. They haven't exactly had a formidable offensive opponent, and when they did (GB isn't even good and the jury is still out on Minny), they were exposed.

Heyyyyy!!!! I missed ya bro!!! Haven't heard a peep from you since our victory!!!

With that said, if Pollard stays home that would hurt us just as much as it would if our other key players stayed home. The good thing about that is.... Dak was able to lead us to victory and contribute in victories when Pollard only had minimal touches that didn't affect the game one way or another....

Now what if Dak stayed home when we play the Eagles again..... we already seen what would happen. We would lose to the Eagles without Dak, just like we did the first game.

Does Dak guarantee an automatic win against Philly??? Absolutely not. But he increases our chances by miles, compared to if he's NOT in there.

With that said, its good to hear from ya bro. Seems like you type less when we win with Dak under center.... and you type more when we lose when Dak is under center. Hmmmm...

Im just going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say.... the reason why you kinda disappear after Dak led victories is... You're celebrating and don't have time to type because we won, right??

Would have been cool if yesterday's Dak showed up against the niners too. But here we are.

It would have been cool if our team helped each other out by not committing 14, 15 penalties in that game.

It also would have been cool if our defense didn't give up 200 yards rushing in that game as well. Maybe Dak could have gotten on defense, made some stops and tackled Deebo better than the guys paid to play defense, huh.....

Funny how those flags and missed tackles are always conveniently left out of the conversation when that playoff game against the 49ers is brought up.....

The entire team choked that game with the except of a few players. Dak was not one of the exceptions unfortunately.

No question. Dak didn't have a good game. But i do remember him converting key 3rd down plays and they were brought back because of holding, or hands to the face, or illegal shift, etc.

He still choked at other points. Nobody gets an excuse. It was an entire team collapse. Hopefully it was a lesson to them all and doesn't happen again.

It was definitely encouraging. When Dak is at his best he is leveraging accurate darts 10 to 20 yards downfield. Consistency is what we need to see.

All true. Dak was still terrible.
