In fact there were some still willing to overlook Cooper Rush throwing 3 INTs against the Eagles, by claiming how he "almost" brought the Cowboys back in that game. Also despite the INT, Dak still made the throws he needed to make when the Bears started to close the lead in the 2nd half. And Dak lead TD drives in the 2nd half on offense which made it harder for the Bears to pull a comeback. Taking away the TD the defense got. The offense still managed at least 2 offensive TD drives in the 2nd half.

Some are willing to give Cooper Rush more of a pass for throwing 3 INTS against Philly in a loss, than they are willing to give Dak for an INT he threw in a game in which the Cowboys still won by 20 points. Dak still made up for the miscue by helping to lead a critical TD drive in the 2nd half.
Those chirping about the INT need to have a better understanding as to why, instead of the lazy & simple way - blaming the QB. They don't care to factor in route concepts or schemes. Just blame Dak.

Dak did not have to pass, you do not get it do you? lol Dallas was up 42 to 29 late in the 4qrt. Why would Dallas throw? Hell I been a Cowboy fan longer than you likely have been alive so save distraction BS. Yes I'm a fan of Dak and I was a fan of Romo and Danny White as well as Aikman and Staubach as well as Morton and Meredith. and believed in each man to go out and do the job, in the end it did not happen for all of them not always their fault alone.
We were up by 4 in the 3rd quarter, so why did they go away from the pass after the INT at the end of the 2nd quarter again? Because of the score late in the 4th quarter? What? lol

That Dak is good Dak but can he do it against SF, PHI or TB in the playoffs?

That is truly all that matters. We’ve seen enough evidence that this team can beat the average to below average teams. I don’t put too much stock in the Eagles loss because we had our backup in against one of the best teams in the NFL. Next meeting with them will be a better barometer about our teams real strength…..or lack, thereof

If we would've played the 1st half the way we played the 2nd half we wouldn't have scored as many points, but neither would've the Bears.

I think it's a 32-17 type of game if we play the whole game the way we played the 2nd half.

I also don't think the Bears are within 4 in the 3rd quarter that way either.

Both ways led to a win, but I think the 2nd half of the game way is the way that we win in the playoffs.

If we play a run first team and you think our run defense is our one soft spot, you want to put pressure on them to score not run every down. Now that doesnt mean Air raid it means balanced offense and be effecient in your drives....thats what will help this defense the most. This defense is built to get after a passing game.

Exactly can we move the ball on a good defense that can drop coverage and hold the line with 4...from the OC/QB to the OL/WR we all need to see them over come that defense to have confidence in them. Totally agree.

staying in his lane? lol Dallas came out in the 2nd half and still threw the ball including passes down field, it was not until they got the big lead that Dallas stopped throwing the ball. You don't seem to get that, with game in hand they went to the run as they should have.

I know it's hard not to feed that troll because I do too on occasions. And he's a troll make no mistake about it. He bashes Dak at every opportunity but yet he has Dak as his profile picture. That proves he's a troll.

Well, hopefully, the run defense is much better by the end of the day today.

We didn't with the score 23 to 28 Dallas had Dak throwing the ball including 3rd and 9 to Schultz for gain of 30. Dak was 4 of 4 on the drive and was capped off on 7 yard run by Pollard 1st and goal from the 7. Dallas went up 35 to 23, are you with me? Chicago get the ball back fumbles and Parson returns it for a TD now the score is 42 to 23. Bears would get a TD in the 4th qrt but it 13 plays and over 6 min of the 4th qrt. Dallas is up 42 to 29. Your way off on this, Dallas had the game in hand at that point. Pollard would add to the lead with a run of 54 yards making final 49 to 29 Really you can't be this stupid.

You don't get it and I'm not going to keep going over it,

We'll have many other weeks to argue about how the offense should be handled.

Because the game was put away after the Parson TD, Dallas was not going to throw the ball. You can go over it but fact is you are wrong. Up by as much as Dallas was at that point no they were not going to throw it but in the 2nd half they did not shy away from opening up with the pass with only a 28 to 23 lead, they asked Dak to drive the team down the field using passes and he did it and capped the drive off with a TD

and I can promise you should Dak look bad I will say so and give credit to him like any other player if he plays great ball. I doubt you can do the same.

Which is the most important thing, Dak delivered when the Cowboys needed a TD drive the most. And helped the offense to keep producing points in a game where the defense was struggling to contain Fields and hold the opposing offense to within a certain range of points.

I could be mistaken but I thought they said that the Bears were ranked 5th against the pass in yards allowed. Apologies if that’s incorrect
If your right then he played even better than I thought. Once I saw Pollard and especially Malik was going to be able to run the ball well then I felt more comfortable in the game. The passing was good and the WR was hanging on to the ball.

I will say this it was great to see offense hitting on all cylinders. Dallas came out of the gates playing outstanding offense and kept it up throughout the game. I think this team needed a big offensive showing. Defensively I don't expect to see a guy like Fields running the ball as he did very often in the course of a season. Chicago controlled the clock by being able to put together some long drives but controlling the clock means little when the opposing offense is playing as Dallas did capitalizing with 4 consecutive drives for TD

The Cowboys asking Dak to be more than just the bus driver might be the reason we have 1 Wild Card win in his career.

He's not Mahomes or Allen, so let's stop trying to make him that and let him be what he is best at and what he thrives at. That is being a bus driver.

You act like being a bus driver is a bad thing. It's not. It's knowing your capabilities and playing to your strengths to help your team. It's admirable.
Allen was very much a "Bus Driver" the other night

If the Cowboys play like they played this past Sunday we can beat anyone.

the only SINGLE thing that I would change would be the 240 yards rushing allowed…..however the paltry 130 passing yards allowed has to be factored in as well.

if the stats were actually 250 passing yards and 125 rushing yards against our defense, the optics wouldn’t appear as bad. Just like the offense, balance must be achieved in the defense so they don’t become one dimensional and feasted on by running qbs.

There's nothing wrong with that. You do what is needed to give your team the best chance to win.

Trying to be something you are not when the problems start.
I agree, all Qbs are bus drivers in the sense of things, the team is the bus, they are driving it. But you do use it as a back hand compliment to Dak.
