The Eagles?? Go beat the Packers and Vikings first, then we'll talk about the Eagles.

If the "team" plays as well as it did yesterday.

Dominating run game opening up the pasing game = highly successful per past results

Having quarterback lead the charge and throwing 40 times a game...impressive stats on paper but based upon past results not so good.

If KM continues to balance the run game and passing game with Pollard(not zeke) leading the way no reason why we shouldn't walk over most defenses.

Folks we beat a team that will be lucky to have 6 wins at the end of the season. If that is what you are basing the future of this team on I'm afraid allot of you are going to be very disappointed when it comes time to play the top tier teams in the post season

Or people think they played better on offense then they have all year...why is that a bad thing?

We can beat anybody. He was leaner and found every hole in the defense. If that Dak shows up against the eagles we win period.
Of course!
When the Cowboys have the momentum and the opposing team is weak, Dak looks great. He always does. Even I loved the way he played yesterday.
The problem comes when the Cowboys don't have the momentum and they are playing a good team that isn't falling apart. When Dak has to be the difference maker, that's when he looks bad.
As long as Tony Pollard, Ezekiel Elliot, Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs and the rest are making a difference, Dak coasts to a victory.
And I love the "run first" approach.
But that's the difference between Dak and Cooper Rush; Rush knows it's his responsibility to make things happen when no one else is. That's why he's better than Dak. In tough games Rush responds. Even if it's just moving the ball regularly and changing field position until you can find an opening, Rush does it. Dak doesn't.
If Dak could play like he did yesterday when the game gets tough for the Cowboys, everyone would be content.
That's the difference.

Cooper Rush was the reason for why the Cowboys fell behind against the Eagles and help the Eagles jump to a 20 point lead on the Cowboys. And he 3 INT ended any chance the Cowboys had of coming back. We saw what Cooper Rush is, when the defense isn't able to hold teams to one TD and under 20 points per game. To say that Cooper Rush makes things happen when no one else does, is silly considering how the run game and defense were a big part of the reason for why the Cowboys went 4-1 with Rush.

I'm not trying to be combative about this. I'm just making a point.
And no, it wasn't all Cooper Rush. It was a bad call by the officials, compounded by the coach's choice not to challenge it. It was a hyped up Philadelphia team playing full tilt with the fans in their corner. It was Gallup not fighting for a pass and letting the defender swat him aside while he made the play on the ball. It was the receiver running a lazy "in" cut and letting the defender get the break on the ball. It was excessive penalties by the Cowboys. It was the defense caving in and allowing a 75 yard drive with the Cowboys down three points that killed the comeback.
And, it was Rush playing in just his sixth game, having won the first five. But he was due a little struggling.
But all the Dak fans were screaming with ecstasy because he finally lost a game and you guys could declare him at fault- despite all of the other factors.
But Dak chokes like that against EVERY good team in EVERY big game.
That's the issue.

No you tried to make a thread claiming that Cooper Rush didn't have a bad game at all against the Eagles and even attempted to find a way to blame other players on the team for the loss against the Eagles. When the reality is that Cooper Rush's 3 INTs are a big reason for why the Cowboys lost against the Eagles. Just like it's an equal reality that the defense and running game were a big part of the reason for why the Cowboys went 4-1. When you are still trying to give Cooper Rush the sole or main credit and act like he carried the team to wins or had to do it when no one else no the team showed up, which isn't true.

Cooper Rush doesn't win the game against the Bears, because he has showed that he needs the defense to hold the opposing offense to under a certain amount of points. You're still trying to save face for Cooper Rush's bad game against the Eagles. Yet are one of the ones who said that Dak supporters would start to blame other players on the team any team if the Cowboys lost a game upon Dak's return. Yet here you are blaming other players for Cooper Rush's 3 INTs. Expecting the defense to be able to hold opponents to under 20 points and within one TD every time to bail out a Cooper Rush offense not being able to get over a certain amount of points.

Why are you guys so afraid of Cooper Rush?
You're desperate to prop up Dak and bash Cooper every chance you get?
If his play is so bad you shouldn't fear him taking Dak's spot. Maybe you saw something you don’t want to admit?

why would I be afraid of Rush? He showed that the Cowboys have a backup that we can depend on and did so last year yet I did not see a soul around here who wanted to keep Rush, I heard we needed a real backup. I don't think anyone in their right mind would claim that Rush is better than Dak but again he showed himself as a legit backup and clearly made himself some money when he hits FA

But he wont based on last 6 years
Besides some of 2017 when we had no left tackle or WR’s and 2nd half of last year Dak has been very legit. He’s not the best but you CAN win a Super Bowl with him.

If I had the choice, for this year’s Cowboys team, give me a healthy Dak over Jimmy G, Kirk Cousins or Jalen Hurts all day every day.

I think him sitting for 6 weeks was a blessing in disguise. He’s hungry, played loose which he hasn’t in a while. Can tell he feels good.

I didn't know anything about Rush until this year, other than he'd bounced around between Dallas and New York.
But he showed quickly that his head is better than Dak's in game situations. Is he good enough to be a franchise back? I don't know. But he is better than Dak at leading a team against good teams, and over time would out produce Dak in big games. I like Dak and wish he had Rush's mentality, but he doesn't.

If Dak is used like he was yesterday and limits his passes to 20 yds or less we can beat anybody

Evidently not or else he would be starting. No doubt you know little about the Cowboys or players.

Agreed.

But if the defense that showed up yesterday shows up again? We can also lose to anybody.

Both sides looked vastly different from what we’ve seen so far this season.
