If the Eagles are done with Wentz, the Cowboys need to get him

No doubt he regressed this year. Problem is, it's more difficult to unlearn bad habits than to make good habits.

I'd say no if for no other reason than there's a greater chance of his staying regressed than returning to his "MVP before the injury" form.

Cowboys have had far too many "let's take a chance on him" players fail than work out. Let's not take a chance on adding another one to that list...

by the way dak has not proven anything yet. one playoff win , same as wentz , and dak had a better OL and RB combo . Not saying wentz is great , but dak has not done anything yet .
Wins are on the QB?

Wentz doesn't have a playoff win. He has only played in 1 playoff game (a loss), and threw only 4 passes with only 1 completion.

Agreed to an extent that neither has proven anything, but Dak does have a better record as a starting QB, a better career passer rating, and Wentz has been playing much of his career with strong O-Lines himself. Peters, Kelce, Brooks and Johnson have all had outstanding careers.

I honestly can't think of anything Prescott needs to prove after this season has unfolded.
he was on a roll. and then injuries to the o-line came crashing down with a vengeance. what might have been?

Show me the missed tackles Dak made while playing defense?

Since the coaching exodus from Philadelphia after their Super Bowl win, Carson Wentz has had to carry an offense that looked more like an orthopedic wing from a Philadelphia sports hospital.
But he's a solid star and has carried the Eagles offense despite missing so much of his offensive line, receiving corps, and coaching.
He proved that last season, winning the NFC East over Dak and the Cowboys, despite Dak Prescott having all of his weapons and the lead in the division when they faced.
He has done more with less than Dak ever dared to do.
Wentz will be a solid addition to the Cowboys and allow Dak to peddle his skills elsewhere as a free agent.
That is, if Wentz and the Eagles really do part ways.

You must be on drugs. Wentz and Prescott both came into the league in 2016. Wentz played in fewer games in those first 4 years. The eagles won a Super Bowl and got to the divisional round the next year except it was all Nick Foles and not Wentz. Last season after winning the division in the wildcard game Wentz only threw 4 passes completing only ONE for 3 yards. This season in 11 games threw 16 TD's BUT FIFTEEN PICKS and got benched.

Now again both Prescott and Werntz were rookies together but it was Prescott that was named offensive rookie of the year. Now the eagles matched Prescott's best season with 13-3 record but Wentz only accounted for 10 of their wins. Oh one more thing Wentz has more fumbles than Prescott and has lost more fumbles than Prescott and there are people on this site that say Prescott fumbles to much.

Wentz has never lived up to his #2 pick in the draft and will probably be considered a bust.

don't make fun of him. alcoholism is a disease. he is trying hard
Well. AA is just a phone call away. Easier than logging into a fan site and posting threads. And the best thing? They have professionals on hand. It is a win-win.

Dak had better OL and RB and WR combos and lost so many playoff and other games against losing teams . Surprisingly he is not being blamed . Why is Wentz being blamed then with a worse team ?

Good points indeed.
