If the Eagles win and clinch the division on Sunday would you sit out last game?

Who do you want to sit out against Washington? Nevermind Camp Cupcake complaints and soft team stuff. We all saw how tired and beat up this team is. They need rest. Period. Give me some guys who shouldn't see the field. Starting with DLaw and Micah. Rest Dak and Lamb. Who else ? Should we bring up the whole practice squad ?

It has nothing to do with what I want. If the Eagles win, they'll sit everyone.

with the entire nfc east heading to the playoffs i would rest against washington, it is likely we will be seeing each other at more critical junctions ahead. dak needs to keep his bones healthy as he will need to run for some first downs in the playoffs.

Not only are they tired. It is a 4 game run to win it all. We cannot afford to lose anyone to injury in a meaningless game.

I am really stunned by the people on this board complaining about a 2 touchdown win on Thursday night. We just played our 3rd game in 11 days!!! More reps is NOT what this team needs! It needs a physical and mental break. They are not robots!

I'm pretty sure Washington has to win out to secure a playoff spot. The Cowboys won't be a problem for them. But they still have to beat the Browns.

Everyone except Nashon Wright and Kelvin Joseph. Hopefully they play and get injured just enough to miss the rest of the season so we are forced to try someone else at that CB position. I can’t imagine anyone being worse.

C'mon.... we should never hope one or two of our players gets hurt. That's just wrong.

Relax, it’s called sarcasm. I never root for players to get hurt on other teams much less the Cowboys. Some of the people on this board are wound a little too tight.

..oh man, yes. Rest basically everyone. Maybe get Dak to run couple of series with TY. Get more sync with game XP .

other than that, start Rush. Get back ups, some needed XP.
IMO, Dak doesn't play well after rest. They didn't play him in the preseason and he looked all kinds of rusty against the Bucs. He didn't look good after the bye week either. I'd play him for a half as long as we can protect him and I'd tell him to take zero risk.

There are 2 reasons the 1st rd bye is so coveted.

1) You have to win one less game, you are automatically in the 2nd rd.

2) Your players get a week to rest up and heal.

So if that last game means nothing to us, hell yes you rest players. Imagine playing everyone in a meaningless game and CeeDee tears an ACL.
Nah, Im calling up the entire practice squad and sitting every major player as much as I can.

Sloppiness follows rest...potentially.
Did the 90s Cowboys get byes in 92, 93, 94, and 95?

Sloppiness follows weak teams.

Sometimes you just lose, it has zero to do with a week off. Rust doesnt happen in a 13 day period.

If we are locked into the five seed after Sunday, I'd rest everyone.
everyone's not possible. Core payers, injured ,and overused players for sure. have to field team and only 53 to choose from..you need 22 to start and rotational..serioulsy can't sit an entire roster not all 22 starters will have that luxury,

I imagine 8-10 will sit and play zero snaps, 5-6 pay half the game and then pray you have enough bodies to finish the game.

Could be right but 0%? Give me 1% at least. You know, Reid1boys, you're not God! You're just an Internet forum poster! ;)

Everyone forgets we played 3 games in 12 days. Rest is essential for this team right now.

And no one is mentioning they are resting 9 days before their last game.

With that said, I would rest everyone (not even make the trip) and call in the practice squad and all the 2nd and 3rd tier players similar to what Titans did.

I would sit as many players as possible. Every starter would be sitting at HOME watching the game, don't need any rah-rah players running up and down the sidelines getting tired from picking up their teammates who are playing against the SKINS.

When we played the Eagles the last game of 2021, they sat every starter except Jason Kelce, and the only reason he got to start the game was because he *****ed about sitting out. Yes, I checked the box score and starting lineups.

We kicked their *** that day, 51-26.
