If the Eagles win and clinch the division on Sunday would you sit out last game?

It's the whole "rest vs. rust" debate again. Teams have had success in their first playoff game doing both.

I look at it this way- what if Dallas had a first round bye? They aren't getting that (in all likelihood) so let's give some banged up players a self-made bye. Rosters aren't big enough to rest everyone but there's a way to give the injured ones a week off.

This team needs rest. We took a lot of injuries last night. Resting injured, and old.

Problem is we’re a mash unit as it is. If for sure rest Micah and DLaw maybe play the offense 1 series

I just don’t know what we have in the way Oline to put out there. If we could rest all 5 starters I would but I don’t think numbers dictate it

QB Rush
RB Davis
WR Tolbert / Washington / Turpin
TE Hendershot
OL Ball / Martin / McGovern / Smith / Smith

DL McKinley / Gholston / Watkins / Gallimore
LB Gifford / Cox
DB Joseph / Mukamu / Goodwin / Wright / Wilson

Man, unless I am missing some signings the OL is really thin. Outside of that, Dallas should be able to keep out most of their starters. I certainly would. The team is banged up to all hell.

I'm going to the game vs Washington, and nothing would make me happier than seeing Will Grier or Ben DiNucci starting at QB and TO playing receiver.

Who do you want to sit out against Washington? Nevermind Camp Cupcake complaints and soft team stuff. We all saw how tired and beat up this team is. They need rest. Period. Give me some guys who shouldn't see the field. Starting with DLaw and Micah. Rest Dak and Lamb. Who else ? Should we bring up the whole practice squad ?

They’re getting 9 days rest before Washington, so that should help after playing 3 games in whatever it was….12 days? No problem resting Micah and Lawrence, but I’d like to see the offense get a half of action, and I wouldn’t rip MM if he played the skill offensive players through 3 quarters. If I knew someone had an injury that would benefit from sitting, I’d be okay with that. We don’t seem to play sharp football when there’s two weeks between games.

I’d play everyone and start resting players after quarter 1.

MM needs to emphasize a clean quarter by the O. No TOs, no stupid penalties…

I would only rest Pollard, Micah, Diggs, and maybe Dak. We need some momentum going into playoffs. A loss is fine, if we are still competitive.

I usually don’t like sitting out players, but last year we decided to play our starters in the season finale in a meaningless game and it did us no good in the playoffs. With all players nicked up, I would rest everyone’s in the season finale if it’s a meaningless game. We could’ve very easily lost Dak last night. If the game means something in week 18 play everybody and if it doesn’t sit them.

I would rest Dak for Washington and then rest Dak for the WC game, then the divisional game then the Conference Championship and then the Super Bowl. We need Dak fresh for next season.

Someone has to play. I’d play dak a qtr. get rush ready incase Daks hurt again. I’d play both necks. The run game has been broken the last few weeks. I’d get t y abd Gallup up to speed. I’d get Tyler more comfortable at guard. I believe that’ll be his best position.

yes please rest the entire team. That would have been 16-17 days of rest at that point. If they want to make a playoff run that is more important than playing that last week in my opinion.

We played 3 games in 12 days twice late in the season. That's crazy. Especially at the end of the season when players are already somewhat spent. No wonder our team looks tired. Especially the defense. A defense that is undersized and relies more on speed. They should try to rest players that are older and players that are injured and beat up.
