If the team has come together why can't the fans?

Too many agendas, SOME people are more wedded to their agenda then the team.
True, but the biggest problem is the attacks and insults. As long as that goes on, strife.

The funny thing is, the large majority of fans on this site are together. It's the small number of homers and haters that constantly spat and throw insults. The problem is, it always bleeds over to where they are insulting regular members, fans who are here to discuss their team and palaver w/ other fans.

It can be both things
Dak played well but threw 1 pick and a second one that was dropped. These were not ‘fluky’ picks, they were thrown to the defenders. A QB that does this cannot be absolved off blame just like CD is to be blamed even though he made a spectacular catch. Great plays DO NOT “make up” for ban ones
This is the point.

It's hard to enjoy any win even against awful bad teams without the usual suspects banging on about how well Dak Prescott played forgetting any redzone or dropped picks that would have lost most games but for the defense and special teams securing several turnovers and stops.

I didn't think Prescott was awful against the Eagles but by jove, I wouldn't be citing it as a great performance either.

Same here. I asked my football buds to grade Dak vs the Eagles, and the grades ranged from a B+ to a C. Most were around the same.

Anyone who says he was either great or terrible should be ignored.

If Reality assumed the mantle of Supreme Dictator, an executive order to command unity would have MountainBoy and Sargeant Rock singing Kumbaya together.

It's comical as the same posters who hail Prescott's performance against the Eagles are the same people who are unable to give Hurts any credit for his performance in Superbowl #1 against the Chiefs where he was brilliant except for the ball slipping out of his hands whilst rushing on one drive. An unfortunate play that every quarterback will have experienced at some point and could have been retrieved by his own team in another game.

However, the aforementioned posters simply claim that Hurts bottled the Superbowl yet praise Dak to high kingdom come despite throwing a horrible pick in the redzone and he was very lucky that the Eagles linebacker effectively dropped the game for another regulation pick.

It's why I can't take those posters seriously.

I'm not an Eagles fan but I'm objective in my analysis. I can give other quarterbacks praise.

I agree. He made some big plays but he was afforded those chances by the defense and special teams who papered over his mistakes. It was a team win.

why can't the fans? I've never seen so much negativity after every win then from Cowboys fans...especially this site. They are going to win and they are going to lose. If you're a true Cowboys fan, you support them....period! This group is special....and I don't mean that in a good way. Kudos to the fans that are true ride or die fans. You know who you are. Give yourself high fives....lol
The answer to your question is that you know who's on here, call any fan who is critical about any aspect of this franchise, haters...negative, etc. Sure, there are a few who are constantly negative, but there are far more who are critical and get accused of not "supporting" their team, and are expected to accept things as they are. Being a fan of a Sports team, Music Band, or TV show means experiencing the ups and downs. If being a die-hard fan means never being critical or negative about how a franchise is performing, then you clearly cannot see the forest through the trees and do not accept how one defines being a die-hard

I have more respect for the fan who has lived through 30 years of ups and many downs of this team than the fan who jumps on the bandwagon only when they perform.

On a fan opinion forum, there are 3 ways to “get along” or make this great Cowboys fan forum work better:
  1. State your opinion.
  2. Agree or Disagree with an opinion and tell why without ripping someone as “negative” or disrespecting them.
  3. Ignore the content.
Pretty simple really. Don’t like someone’s opinions? State why without making it personal. Tired of someone’s opinions? Ignore them.

Never seen so many people who don't know what to do about deferring opinions. Actually, I have, but it involves that dreaded P word.

10001% bang on. Notice that it's the ones who are only here to incite are the ones who get gang tackled more than others? As a former Psychology Major, I can guarantee you that these people have attention-seeking behaviour, and know no other way then to draw attention to themselves

Just kidding, good points, words to live by. :)

let's all get some virtual hugs, hold each others hands, and sing kumbaya..lol :yourock:

Come on.

30 years of futility has conditioned almost every fan to expect the worst from this team.

Mirage wins are a thing for this team.
Yeah but we're not all like that I mean you're assuming because we're super excited over a win that it wasn't anything more than that it was a great win against a rival how could you not be up for that I mean I don't get it why do we need to say it doesn't mean much because we're only 500 team The likelihood of not making the playoffs why would you get excited I can tell you why because you're a fan you should get excited over every win but it's a week to week concept in the NFL and it's OK to show that you're proud and happy over a win there's no need to come in and say calm down it was just one win...

even the ridiculous responses to it it was just the raiders.. It was a win I will take a win over A loss any day I don't care about the draft the draft positioning I don't care about any of that I don't want to tank I want them to win as many games as possible and it's OK to be happy about a win It doesn't mean we're going to make the playoffs but we're allowed to be overly hyped especially with all the **** talking that the Eagles fans do you need leading up to that game all they talked about is you beat the Raiders and you're overly happy but we're not the Raiders look what happened we made him look like the raiders.

You can't get hyped up for that I feel bad for you..

I mean that kind of win when you're down 21 points at home to a rival and it was all but over and look at all the posts that were going on during the game on Twitter and everywhere on social media,

the Eagles fan said they just killed our season blah blah blah they literally had it in the bag ,and then you rip it right back from them, and if you can't be happy that we just ruined the Eagles day ,whether it was their season or not, we ruined their day, we may have ruined their Thanksgiving, they're not happy right now,

There was already discourse in house with them, It just got worse man if you can't get happy about that I can't help you.....

Oh I know the cult mindset...you don't care what anyone thinks besides Jerry and Dak.
No, I only care what I think, and people that are proven to be intelligent. Not too many here and that’s for sure.

Because you’re not talking about fans any more. You’re talking about entitled people who freeload their entertainment and want the world to hear how negative and wrong they are. Since they are unhappy generally, they want everyone else to be miserable with them.

There are two *actual* admitted Eagles fans who post here regularly and both are good posters who are respecful and knowledgeable.

One of our problems is that anyone who is critical of the team in any way is all too often called an Eagles fan.

I’ve been called an Eagles fan by a couple of those usual suspects which couldn’t be any more ridiculous.
You dang hating Eagles fan. You piss me and the R&R boys off. You'd better hope we don't have our roach stomping boots on when we meet you.

Low IQ fake fans.
