If true and Scouts want Ramsey and Coaches want Elliott than which would you prefer ?

I'm leaning Elliott but want be sad with Ramsey just concerned over lack of Turnovers from him
and I think Elliott makes the bigger team impact !!! my opinion only.

Coaches (rod) didn't like Floyd in his scheme. It didn't come down to Floyd vs Fred. But there was a disconnect in the rating of players. Floyd was #5 on board.

The Scouts considered S.Floyd a top 5 or 10 pick at DT.

Rod and Crew saw him as a 1 tech and NOT a 3 tech DT and therefore said he was not worth that pick in the first round.

There was a disconnect between the scouts and the coaches and that was why things were changed up and McClay took over.

Instead of taking Floyd, they traded down and took Fred Beard and Twill.

this should be easy...if the coaches don't feel Ramsey is a corner and prefer Elliott, than it should be a no brainer.

With Lamar Miller this would have been a very easy pick. I still would have go to Ramsey. Look I like Elliott, I just find it hard to justify drafting a RB given the resources currently allocated to that position.

To me, so long as the profile/prototype for players/positions has been agreed upon between the scouts and the coaching staff, I would defer to the scouts. After all, they are the ones who are watching these prospects in a detailed manner all season. The coaches get a much more scaled down view of them.

The front office wanted to keep Murray he just wanted more money. FO was right.

And as for this draft we've been connected with each and every prospect. Apparently we like everyone the best. That is what counterintelligence does to confuse the opponent.
