It's still dumb if they are speculating anything about him being the swing tackle over Weems. Gibson is an extremely raw developmental guy. They were even afraid to put him out there too soon and sat him against the Chargers.
Weems has been performing so poorly that they're beginning to realize they overestimated him severely. They are now giving Gibson a chance to prove himself and he's responding very well. Obviously, they're no longer afraid to put him to the test. Now, they may both be on the bubble but I'm simply saying Gibson's arrow is pointing up and Weems' is pointing down. A decision will be coming soon but there's still time for the pecking order to change. We'll soon see what's what. Nothing is set in stone just yet.
