You're ABSOLUTELY correct. The players are PROS and are very confident, especially with it being a close game. The know they COULD have that game. They aren't down like some of us are, sure they're disappointed with the "L" but they know they could have won and bet they're looking forward to Philly...

I don't think they will let down at all....however some are getting frustrated. I hope they can use that to focus, but the emotions are there. i.e. JJ and Witten...

I'm sure other players are upset that they lost yesterday but they have a game coming up that they have to get ready for and I think they will go about their business of getting ready for Philly. As for the fans I quit caring about what our so called fans think

Of course they will...it's their job. It's our jobs as fans to look at hindsight...it's always 20/20...

I do expect to see JJ and Witten to become more frustrated if things to not change some. Witten MUST be used more, and the playcalling is so predictable it's sickning...JJ is running into a brick wall play after play. We need get him the ball in the open...1st down pass plays to him over the middle etc...

I'm looking at SD...not using LT and Gates they are 0-2...making them a huge part of game plan they are 2-0. Let's not compare JJ to LT...I'm NOT. However, JJ is a huge part of our game plan and so should Witten. We must be more creative in getting them the ball.

While I'm sure you already dislike any Eagles fan; especially me, responding to this post, what do I have to lose -- I already know how you feel about me. So here's my two-cents ...

You haven't been here long, so I can't fault you there. But I've been here long enough to have mixed it up with the likes of 1Fishers, Doomsday101, CBZ, BrainPaint, Hostile, YeagerMeister, Heavyhitta, Woody's Girl, the Q-Dog (he knows who I mean); Hoov and many other long-time posters and dedicated Cowboy fans -- we have history. They all hate the Eagles but the difference in these type Cowboys fans is that they won't whine (and I'm not saying you are) about feelings and losses, and they don't put there "laundry" out even if they did have concerns like what you're talking about.

There are fans like that on the Eagles side of the ball also ...Tobias77, AJM, and others like me who respect that quality in a fan. So I think terms like "destroy confidence" and "what must the team be feeling" are self-perpetuating!

You probably don't even remember but somewhere in your 115 or so posts you told me "don't ever challenge your dedication as a Cowboys fan." But isn't that what you're doing indirectly?! Remember, the title of your thread is ...

Don’t worry, Eagles will get what’s coming to them. After beating the snot out of Philly, confidence will be back.

I would hope every player is not only frustrated, but mad. It's hard to believe this is the worst team in the East at the quarter-pole. I hope to see a lot of fight from the team in every game - but especaially next Sunday. It won't matter in the end - as long as McNabb is at QB Philly will win - but it will show promise for the remainder of the year.

Given the shaky win over a very bad SF team and the loss to a possibly even worse Oak. team, my expectations are 3-5 at the mid-point.

Alright, knew you would show up sooner or later. Dedication and confidence are NOT the same thing. I came out of my mother with stars in my eyes jackazz, and I don't have to prove that to you.Anyone who knows me, knows this. We have played 4 games that have been decided by less than a touchdown. We have played catch up in all of them. Now, my confidence in our teams ability to win is a little shattered right now, and any reasonable fan would have to agree. I was trying to get an idea of what OUR fans thought about our teams moral.
Once again, I don't care who you have "whooped" it up with here. I have read numerous posts about how our fans feel today, and my post was directed towards most of them.
So, get off your high horse, and stop disecting and analyzing every single post I make. Philly will lose some games buddy, and we wont hear from you, because we don't frequent your boards. I can only imagine what goes on there.

There's alot riding on next week's game for both teams. While the Eagles have the advantage, if they lose to an "inferior" team it could really shake them up. The 'Boys really need this win to get them on track. The best thing about this is the match-ups. On D Newman can handle TO, Henry can take Greg Lewis, and if need be Glenn can deal with Reggie Brown. Bryan Westbrook can have Roy Williams all to himself. Besides that its a matter of containing LJ Smith. We have to keep pressure on with our D-line. Ware can't make any more stupid mistake.
On offense it's simple. Oline. If our offensive line works we can really challenge the Eagles secondary, and of course try to get Julius running strait. This has to be mistake free. I'm talking Villanova vs Georgetown mistake free. Of course some of you guys may not realize this. But this is a home game, that means it's our house, and our game to lose.

Sounds to logical....remember Henry plays right side and Newman left, UNLESS in the slot. We can not deviate from that...we just can't. We must keep Roy back....memories of Moss coming back in middle of game...can not put Roy in box.

Anyways is it just me or does Julius jones run draws very well i havent seen many from him this year but last year and when we do them this year they get at least 6 yards. Idk but if they work so well why not use julius on more of them, its just that we are soo predictabe.
