The facial expression on the woman next to him is priceless. Those two people are avatar representations of about 70% of the users here :)

... 35% the guy standing up with the sign

... 35% the woman looking at him like "What!?!?"

... oh and the other 30% that are not pictured are in grinch outfits :D

At certain times I am every one of the above groups, not always the grinch, just seems like it. Love the guys hat.

Two Thanksgivings.

Last year's doesn't count. Romo was great in nearly every game. This year's Thanksgiving was poor. He was awful. He pressed way too much. He looked like a dang rookie.

Way too rusty and timid.

I felt like this Thanksgiving, much like last year, was more about the quick turnaround.

It was even worse this year because it was the quick turnaround for a guy who'd been out for so long.

I really don't think that physically Romo can make that quick turnaround anymore. It just doesn't seem like it to me anyway.

This year was just worse because he had just come back to the line up and then on top of that we faced a pissed off Carolina team who felt like the whole world forgot that they were in the game, and undefeated, because everyone was talking about the Cowboys cause Romo was back.

I know chances to make the playoffs and compete for a championship only come around every so often if you are the current Cowboys but honestly, I hope the team does not try to bring Tony back. I hope they give him a long off season and get him ready for next year. We only have so many years left of Tony. I think the odds are better that we can win a championship if we get him fully healthy and ready for next year, as opposed to bringing him in, fresh off two injuries and expect him to be able to perform after sitting most of the season.

Those in favor will say that he will have plenty of time in the off season to get healthy but I don't really agree. It takes longer to heal when you injure yourself in the same place twice and it takes longer to come back the older you are. As evidenced, it's not just about the bone healing, it's also about timing and conditioning and game rust and all the rest. Let Cassel play this year and get Tony ready for next year. The more experience Cassel gets, the better we are able to determine if he is the right guy for us next year or if we need to be looking for a good backup.

She has a look on her face saying I should've listened to my parents and not married him.

If we make the playoffs, it will mean most likely Cassel would have won us 5 games in a row. Would you really want to make that switch to a guy who has played a total of 14 quarters this season? Just roll with what got you there. In a win or go home scenario, you don't have have time to wear off the rust.

I think the Bulls did this in 99. Went with Rob Johnson instead of the hot hand in Flutie and they looked flat and lost. But then it worked the other way in the early 90s. I guess it would be a judgement call.

As much as I love Romo, I would have to agree with that. The only way you put him back in is if Cassel struggles in the first half of a playoff game

That's what I'm talking about. He can't be rushed back.

If he's ready, there is no way he holds a clip board.

Not saying he would I'm saying he won't be sharp. If it's determined his collarbone has healed he'll have missed 5 straight games entering the playoffs only appearing in 4 games all season.

After watching the Carolina game I wouldn't want to see Romo rushed back to play. Go with Cassel.

I'm riding or dying with #9.

If Tony feels like he's ready to go, put him out there. If it breaks again, he has all offseason to deal with it.

If he breaks it a 3rd time it really forces the team to have to seriously look at taking a QB high. A third break of that collarbone would be the 4th break since 2010. Those injuries derailed two seasons. The odds of him breaking it again next season would be pretty high if he breaks it a 3rd time this season. It's pretty concerning he's broken it twice in a span of several weeks but if he were to break it again in the playoffs we won't be able to count on him staying healthy in the future. Every time he gets slammed on that left shoulder we're all going to be holding our breath.

OK, please come clean. Is the above anybody who posts here?

Not trying to get off topic, but it irks me when at the games, they ONLY show people on the screen in the field-level suites, or the first 10 rows. They'll show the group of guys that dance on the 3rd level, but that's it. When they show the people that close to the field, they're ALWAYS disinterested until they see they're on the video board.

But yes, this is me. *jk

I read it's he is on 6-8 week timeframe again starting from when he was hurt.

Sounds to me like the best case would be NFC Championship game and the most likely case would be Superbowl.

Assuming that the Cowboys somehow make it that far it will mean that Cassell has been playing pretty darn well. I have my doubts they'd yank him in the Superbowl for Romo considering how rusty Romo looked coming back from the 1st broken clavicle.

Are you trying to say let Hostetler play?

If we make the playoffs, I hope we start Kellen Moore just to troll.
