If we fail to get past the divisional round should Mike McCarthy lose his job?

No.

This team isn't built for postseason success. It's worse than the last 2 years really. The defense is average a d the offense can't score. Mike changes nothing, a different HC won't make a huge difference. Not until someone has authority in how the team is built will it get better. They make the post season and that is all Stephen cares about.

Sure, fire another coach. Seems like this has been done several times during the 4 wild card wins in 27 years experience.

The same guy hires the next coach and still has final say over the roster. Unfortunately, we can't fire him.

McCarthy will be fired at the end of the season and Dak will be sent packing. Mark my words.
You can fire Fat Mike, but Dak is on the roster for 2024..............he has a no trade clause and the dead money from releasing Dak would be debilitating to the roster, they cant afford it. His cap hit is like $62 million.

Now 2024 is the last year of Dak's contract, so you can let him walk and start Lance for the 2025 season.

No. Obviously our goals are much bigger but McCarthy has earned the right for at least another year. People can downplay it all they want but making the playoffs consistently and regularly, absolutely matters. This franchise was a roller coaster of 8-8’s mixed in with a good year here or there but never back to back double digit win seasons before mm came and really since 96.

We have become a stable organization that you can pencil into the postseason and for double digit wins now. Now, we need a championship game appearance at least soon and ideally a Super Bowl because we have bigger fish to fry but you can’t get a Super Bowl without multiple cracks at the apple and typically consistently being in the post season.

McCarthy has given us that and now the hardest part is getting us over that hump, he should be given the opportunity to do that at least for another year and he will be.

It just sorta feels like we're stuck with Dak stuck with this roster and we are what we are I mean what are we going to solve by paying Dak 60 million Micah 35 million and CeeDee 30 million? You're just paying more for the players you already have and hope things get better. Usually when you're stuck with a roster that can't win you fire the coach.
The general manager should lose his job.

He is a very good OC but does not have the personality as far as motivating a team. Hard Knocks was embarrassing.

The Cowboys don't really have a good leader on the team at all. Dak is not it, Micah is not it, MM is not it.
If your opinion is mm should go that’s a fine opinion to have even if I disagree but please don’t base it off of what you see on hard knocks.

Well what it is that you want I said MM can call plays he should be the OC not the head coach. I guess you didn't watch when Jimmy Johnson put the fear of life into players that they'd be cut if they didn't do their job now it's a clown show. Sounds like you have attachment issues if you think MM is the end all be all. Why can't we win on the road then?
A different time and a different era. No salary cap back then. Jimmy's tactics would not work today. Snowflakes will melt.

Sure, I guess. Won't matter who they hire. No coach can win with Jerry. 30 years of football prove that.
