Sorry Norv apologists, The Prophet just can't see any upside in Jer bringing in Norv to replace BP. Norv's won-loss record in both DC and Oakland was middling at best. Sorry gents, The Prophet is sick and tired of "middling" performances.
Roll the dice with Gibbs or eve Garrett, but let's leave Norv out of the mix. A fresh, new approach is needed. Let's hope Jerry doesn't do anything stupid, like hiring the likes of Norv Turner.

Thats a take that, many have discussed here in the weeks prior to the eventual resignation/retirement of Parcells.

I think Jones expected Parcells to quit. Yet because it was up in the air, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place as far as recruiting options for the next guy.
