The rumors are already swirling and Jerry wants to make a splash. I hope McCarthy and DQ coach like their lives depend on it.
He already hinted that he’d be willing to give up GM duties to stay with the Pats. Apparently that wasn’t enough for them. I think it’s a real possibility Jerry goes after him if he moves off McCarthy.

I agree. Belichick apparently has had nothing but kind words for the Joneses and the Cowboys organization....complimentary to an unusual degree for the usually taciturn coach. He would inherit a Super Bowl competitive roster and an organization that gathers a decent product year in and year out. I'm not saying Belichick would take it if Jerry offered...but I think he would seriously consider it.

The only coach l'd like to see in Dallas after MM, is Harbaugh from Michigan.

A Bellichik hire would be the greatest consolation prize ever if we don’t win the SB

He made a splash with Parcells, how did that work out. If we don't win we are close, bellybutton wood take us back a step or two.
Dakand the offense would take a big step back...
Not backing the Belichick idea at all but Parcells was a success in my opinion. Brought respect to the franchise again and got MUCH better with drafting. Parcells was just at the end of his rope and Jerry didn’t know year to year if he'd be coming back.

My cousin works for Celebrity Cruise Lines, and she slipped me the info that Bellicheck just booked a 120-day world cruise during the 2024 football season. He's not coaching anywhere next season. Okay, just kidding, but that's probably not far from the truth. He coached in New England for 24 years, and I forget how long he was with Cleveland before that. I'd bet he takes a huge chunk of time off to enjoy life.

I never cared for him....he'll always be a Giant in my eyes.

Ridiculous. McCarthy has the offense doing great and growing.
Hire a 70 year old head coach who’s made tons of bad decisions lately? No thank you.
Greatest coach ever, but you don’t hire him at the end of his career.

He's already had a bunch of gigantic paychecks, and he's already proven every possible thing a coach would want to prove. Why on God's beautiful green Earth would he want to start from scratch with another team? If I were him, I would already be on the phone with my travel agent to book a long and fun cruise with my family. As a football coach, there's no way he's been able to spend as much time with them as a dad would want to. Well, now he can. Would he pass that up to deal with Jerry Jones? I wouldn't.

I was about to say 72 year old Belichick is the last coach I'd want for Dallas, but I was wrong. You mentioned the last guy I'd want in Dallas. I'd be done with this team.

BB won't be coming here. I could see Seattle or LAC perhaps. Or he could ride off into the sunset and actually relax and enjoy life for once.

I'm going to debunk any rumors right now. He's not coming here, doesn't want to, Jerry doesn't want him, this will be another classic clash, he will get us a few rings, and WON"T be put on the Ring of Honor for 32 years!
Sounds about right.
