The rumors are already swirling and Jerry wants to make a splash. I hope McCarthy and DQ coach like their lives depend on it.
How is that improves anything , BB without TB doesn’t have a stellar record

In what world would Bill Belichick, who has had pretty much all the control in NE for two decades, decide to come here and have Jerry Jones telling him what to do?

LOL. In no world would that happen.

He's lost his leverage of having full control. Only place that will give him control is a bottom feeder with no qb. If he goes to the chargers he will just coach........ (they still won't come close to winning).

I agree it is highly unlikely he comes to Dallas. I also don't think there is a world where any current team hires him and gives him full control at this point. He is going to have to relinquish some amount of power and control with any team that hires him to be the head coach if he still wants to coach in the NFL. I see him with the Jets for some symmetry to his career.

No way! Where'd you hear this sillyness?
no official article, just remember watching on tv and shows that some think Davis would consider bringing him back. Was back in November. Needless to say I can't see this happening but it's the Raiders...

Bill goes to Washington as GM, only slightly joking
I think this is where he will end up... as a coach. Maybe head of it all but the owner is pretty vocal about wanting it be seperate positions, head of football operations and HC coach. But they also want a new stadium, so I could see them giving Bill whatever he wanted.

He's not coming to Dallas. But I think the full control narrative is overblown.. He's 70, at his age let someone else deal with personnel.. Just coach and break Shula's record is the goal... Of course he'll have some say..

And I would be fine with that. McCarthy has led us to three straight 12-5 seasons, but it's all about the playoffs for Cowboys fans. If he can't get us further than we got last year, then we need to keep searching for someone who can. It's all about progress for me. Get us to the NFC title game and your job is safe for one more year. If not, then I'm looking to see if a change would make us better.

Billy would never come here, because he would want full control. Secondly, McCarthy isn't going to get fired unless the team walks off the field before the end of the game and forfeits.
