The season is not a failure. Romo went down and everyone expected anther losing season. Instead we got Dak, Zeke, 13-3. The future is bright and this season is a major win.

Yes, this is the pattern and I fully agree that it is extremely frustrating. The real season begins in the playoffs and the Cowboys have not shown that they can play with the big boys when the chips are down for quite some time...
There's been a pattern and it's been with the defense, we can't establish a consistent pass or make critical stops. It's been the same problem in all our playoff losses since 2006. We gave up a 36 yard pass play with only 12 seconds to play in regulation that allowed the Packers to beat us with a damn FG. We don't have a consistent pass rush or good coverage corners. We have no one on the secondary that's a playmaker. Until we build a solid defense to complement our offense we're never going to get anywhere in the playoffs because you run into Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan other elite QBs. I said a couple of days we don't have the defense to match up with the top QBs in the league. Regardless how good our offense is our defense will continue to get carved up by these great QBs until we start getting a pass rush and some playmakers who can cover. It's incredibly frustrating watch our defense continue to fold in the playoffs
You were absolutely right about Rodgers showing up and playing great. Outcome could have been different if we had scored a TD on the last possession, which seemed very do-able prior to the spike....
A lot of things could have changed the outcome but giving up 3 TD's on the Packers first three possessions put us in a real hole, forcing us to play comeback the entire game. Rodgers beat us with his #1 receiver out the entire game and Adams was injured late in the game and wasn't on the field when Rodgers connected with that 36 yard play, moving the Packers in FG range.
Sleepy first half for the Cowboys, starting with the first drive which was stalled by a penalty (was it Free?)...
Agreed but I thought anything less than a championship game was a failure. Espiecally considering we were the 1st seed.Anybody expecting to win the sb failed themselves by not being realistic.
Wish we could've got to the conference game at least but the playoffs mistakes continue.
Really looking forward to the throttling we are going to hand them on Sunday. I'm not worried at all. This team has passed every test this year and I fully expect them to do the same on Sunday.
You're going to be very disappointed if you're expecting us to "throttle" them. That's not happening this time around. If we win it's going to be a tight game that's going to have every Cowboys fan on the planet on pins and needles in the 4th quarter. If anyone gets "throttled" it will be us and our 26th ranked pass defense.
It was a 6 yard sack that stalled our first drive. Butler killed our second drive with a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
