If we're trying to get better, why keep the same guys?

It's sad tbh, very sad. For the most part this conference been wide open.
All they had to do was keep playing their game and it really seems like they got bullied by greenbay. Just completely scared.

So we’ve lost what? 2 playoff games to the niners. 3 playoff games to the packers. And the giants and eagles have each won two superbowls.

Way to go

Right. And I’m saying we need some of those “outside players” who would be a good fit here. Players that bring something more than just talent. Maybe some grit, some leadership, some toughness.

We are going to have some cap space to spend. I’m just saying why not spend some of it on some new blood?

I mean, I’m one of the harshest critics there is on the team and if past history is an indicator they won’t but we should also let this offseason start of free agency play out- what you’re saying I don’t think anyone would argue with

The Dallas Cowboys - including current free agents - have as a team collectively won 2 wild card playoff games in the last 7 seasons. Yes they have made the playoffs 4 of those 7 years, but is this a mix of players we just can’t afford to lose? Sure some of them are worth keeping, but don’t we need some new blood, new leadership, a new drive to take it to the next level?
  • Serious Question: If we are trying to get better as a team, be more competitive in the playoffs, and transform this soft culture into a tough playoff tested team, why are we so committed as an organization to keeping the same guys?
  • It would be understandable if we had won more playoff games with these guys. We want to “run it back” with the same guys as if all we need is another chance?
I would like to see some cap space dedicated to some new players who have been on teams that have won lots of playoff games.

I’m not saying it has to be a complete roster turnover, but can we just not continue with the “we like our guys” mantra that has dealt us two wild card wins in 7 years? If we are going to get some valuable cap space, I would like to see some new blood brought in.

Otherwise are we not just doing the same things and expecting different results?
Osa is a solid player. They urgently needed sign him and they did. They will have at least a dozen new players on this roster. They intentionally raised the cap space for this year to build a better team. You are getting the new blood not only in players, but in the coaching staff as well.

Ram I didn’t say, “Don’t sign any of our players”. I said “why keep all the same players?”

Maybe we can wait til FA opens up to sign other players before we wring hands of moves not yet made?

You know the answer, bro, you don’t even have to ask the questions we have the absolute worst general manager in professional sports. Well, maybe the second next to Nico, in fact, Jerry might hire Nico.

Why should we as fans have any confidence our GM and son
We don't. We simply maintain our fandom.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel as Stephen shows no signs of being much different than big poppa pump.

The fans are literally the only fools in this relationship because the FO is beyond wealthy and the players and coaches are heavily compensated for failure.......we endure this for free

Umm there is going to be roster turnover. . . .

Another false narrative to add to 'why are people giving Jerry a pass.'

And there won't be even after we spend the least amount in the FA phase.....again
That you don't know nor is valid at this point. If a cop doesn't arrest a convict does that also mean he won't ever. How about OJ.
