...of course I'll give him a chance...it's not up to me anyway, but the only potential I saw last night was Quincy Carter potential...a guy who could move out of the way of the pass rush, but a guy who still made idiotic decisions under pressure.
Aikman's rookie year was tough from the wins and losses, from his learning curve, and mostly from a lousy offensive design under Shula...but Aikman stood in there and took the hits or threw the ball away...he didn't panic and throw the passes Romo threw last night.
I still say Romo could be a solid backup in time, a Jason Garrett type, but he's not the answer at QB...just an opinion like any other one...but I don't see what you see.
