That sounds like a swell gathering!
Are you seeking praise or an exorcism?
Take your time, good lad.
Jason Garrett. I'd like to ask him what he really thinks about working for Jerry, what went into some of the game decisions he's made and why he made the ones he did, did he really purposely sabotage as some believe, etc.
Man! You know it's gotta " suck it pretty hard" if& when SKYBOX COMMAND deems it necessary to descend & LORD IT OVER the halftime locker room 'adjustment scheme',,,
I've had interactions with multiple Pro Athletes in DFW as well as Jerry/Jimmy/Cuban.
I don't have a big need to hang out with any of them.
Having said that, here are my comments:
I would not want to hang out with him, but it would be really funny to get a photo with me and Jermey Parnell especially if I could hold up a sign that said "Doug Free Sucks".
Staubach: Because in my mind he the #1 Cowboys player.
Randy White: I met him before. Might be the guy I would relate to the most on a personality level.
Erik Williams: My favorite player but I probably wouldn't have much in common with him.
Jerry: I think a night out on the party bus would be unlike anything else. Jerry would likely spend as much time talking football as anybody without being beaten down by it.
Don Meredith: Seems like he would have been the most fun to party with of any football player.
Tex Schramm: Like Jerry, I think he could spend a day with a fan and never get beaten down by too many Cowboys/football questions.
Walt Garrison. We could have an oldtimer's rodeo.
Well, whatcha doing in Oct?
Don't know but I'll come to meet him.
For those that said Randy White, check out the Market Zone. For those who said Gil Brand tor some others we will have an announcement on our oct event soon. I hope to see some of you at the events. And thanks for the input. Iwill try to get as many of these guys to an event as possible.
Stay tuned. And watch the Market zone.
I never thought Dandy Don't would be much hanging out.
His public persona, yes, lad, a fun companion. Bit, privately ( and can we blame him?)Too many stories about him wanting to be a recluse and shunning fans in Santa Fe. Again, how can blame him?
Bloke, in the decade I lived in the Rockies near Santa Fe. His Garbo persona was legend.
This is a great thread.
Present player ... Sean Lee
Past Player ... Jason Witten
Hall Of Fame Player ... Irvin (no explanation needed)
OK. Go dowdow.
I would probably go with Walt Garrison. I read his book and laughed through much of it. My guess is he would be a good time.
Bob Hayes and Woody.
I would say Roger, but think I would be too awe stricken. I'd have to go with Walt Garrison otherwise, the guy's just funny and entertaining and a great story teller
Mr. Bob Lily would be the ultimate former Cowboy for me to talk to and hang out with. He means so much to the Cowboys past success and I just respect him for the man he is. Current Cowboys, I'd pick Travis Frederick or Zach Martin. They are at the top of their game and I just have so much respect for these two gentlemen.
Jimmy or Roger.
I'd love to talk football with Tony Romo, Sean Lee, and possibly even Aikman.
As far as just hanging out and shooting the crap goes, Prescott, Jerruh, Bill Bates, maybe Playmaker.
