If you could have 1 former Cowboys player for the rest of the year in his prime...

I don't think there is any doubt Erik Williams would help this team out the most at this point. This team is one of the very best in the league when the offensive line plays atleast average.

I was gonna say, Moose, Woodson, Staubach, Step, or even the Manster.

Since they are all taken here's my choice:

ALVIN HARPER.

With the lack of time Bledsoe has, Harper would be HUGE! Instead of Drew holding the ball too long he could do his best Jason Garrett(on that Thanksgiving game) impersonation by just throwing the ball as high and far as possible and let Harper jump for it.

***HONORABLE MENTION***

Kelvin Martin. We could use his return ability right now.

So, in the twenty plus come-from-behind victories led by Roger Staubach, who was the quarterback in the first three quarters that allowed the team to get behind?

Mark Tuinea would solve so many problems this team has, it would mean we wouldn't be waiting on results Sunday to know we were in the play-offs.

The mere fact that you could use help for Petitti solely would make this offense potent again.

I'd love to have Staubach, Aikman, or Emmitt, but I think they would not be as effective behind our current OL. So I vote for someone like Mark Tuinei or Larry Allen/Flozell (in prime), even Leon Lett (with instructions not to chase down any deflected field goals down the field). Shore up the OL and Bledsoe, JJ/MB3, and the entire "O" improves.

My apologies to the other equally able OLM we've had through the years...I'm sure someone can remind me...

edit: just remembered Erik Williams could do the job...

I like Bledsoe and I would like for him to succeed so #12 is out the window lol(killo me later).

I need either a Defense guy or a Offenseive Weapon.

I'm Going with Micheal IRVIN and Woodson baby!......#88 would be killing them.

Aikman is a bad choice.
He would get hammered with this oline.

Good question, but with OL problem we are having, Eric Williams would be my choice.

Rayfield Wright or Erik Williams on O (we need help on the O-Line)

Hard to pass on Lilly, White or Haley on D.

I would love to have Roger as I have just finished watching the Washington game in 79. The team didn't have Dorsett due to injury but the winner of the game would win the division. Guess who won. Yeah.

Saying that, I don't think this current team would benefit from having Roger. At least not in it's current state. I think that we either sure up our defense with a pic or we go for help on the left side of the offensive line. From there we have a lot to pick from.
