If you had to fire one of these two today, and only one, who would you choose?

Lets see, is our Offense or our Defense in the top 5?

Wade. Anyone who answers differently has their head in the sand. I would not fire either one in mid season.

The Offense allowed Denver and New York to march the length of the field for go ahead scores?

Interesting.

It's funny you should mention Coughlin. When he needed to "change," he did for the betterment of the team. Wade talks about change but the team lacks accountability from it's coach. It's great that the players have picked up the slack but so too does the HC.

In each of Wade's three years we've gone down hill instead of getting better. What else is there to see, especially considering this is Wade's MO at his previous stops? I just don't need to throw the season away just so I can be fair.

We don't know how this season will turn out no more than the Giants fans knew how their SB season would turn out. You say Coughlin changed yet at the time no one talked about how he changed until after the season was over with and the Giants were crowned the champs.

Again I don't claim this team is going to the SB they have been sloppy thus far but I also know that the season is a marathon not a sprint and some teams at the top will fall and some in the middle will rise it happens every year so excuse me if I tend to have the patience of Jobe when it comes to coaches.

By and large I think most fans are impatient and no matter who Jones were to hire if we do not win right away fans will be calling for that coaches head just as well. I feel if you hire a coach you stand by that coach and support them and give them a fair amount of time to do the job.

I recall early on in Landry career when the peanut gallery was calling for his head and Murchison turned around and gave him a 10 year contract.

Interesting.

Let's not forget KC's last minute score taking the game to OT.

When the pressure is on.......

wade cannot help it if the players cant tackle properly.we could have won the giants game if we had utilized the run game more.garrett failed to recognize that it was not romo's night.bottom line is garrett is not utlizing our offensive weapons properly.he still thinks our offense is as good as 2007 when the reality is that our p-line is not pass protecting at the same level.

Yeah coz that suckage of an offense only scored 31 points against the Giants. Damn them.

1) Wade Phillips
2) Jason Garrett

I'd choose 1, (although I think they both need to go, NOW) but the failure of "Mr Fix It's" defense to stop team after team from driving the length of the field for game winning/tying drives, coupled w/ his obvious disconnect from the OC, make it an easy choice for me.

On a side note, could someone explain to me why Norv Turner was such a bad choice again?

I am not a big Wade fan at all.

Garrett has the #1 offense in the leauge right? I mean if Romo is at bad as some proclaim him to be then who is the reason for this #1 offense.

Run the ball more, get Bennett more involved - yada- yada.

Garrett , called an excellent game Sunday IMO. I have had some issues with his play calling - namely the 2 fades in a row - but to call for his firing is insane at this point.

The defense - they are getting their feet wet still in certain circumstances but are playing well 95 % of the game.

I like what I am seeing from this team from a locker room perspective and a leader perspective. They have a chance to live up to their potential. If they do, it will BECAUSE of Wade's style IMO. He is trying to let the leaders emerge and letting players hold other players accountable.

The talent is there - the schemes are there - the "team" is a work in progress. It may crash and burn. It may come out of the fire tough and determined.

I would fire Wade, then rehire Wade and then fire him again, just to make sure he was fired.

Sometimes 31 points HAS to be enough to win.
