I don't have to protect Dak...he's big enough to protect himself. Opposing defenses will win sometimes. It's call the NFL where any team can get beat on any given Sunday. With that being said, last I checked, the Cowboys were one of the top 3 offensive teams in many categories. Tell me ONE...just one team that scores on every drive. As a matter of fact, I'll give you a few days to come up with it. So what they have to settle for a FG sometimes. It happens. Learn the game and get back with me when your knowledge and realism gets better. Cause it sounds more like you don't know football.

I think that's your perceptio.
Vikings starting positions were
38 (kickoff)
14 (kick off)
47 (punt)
25 (kick off)
41 - missed field goal
35 (kick off) - half time
42 (kick off)
27 (kickoff) - at this point we are up 23-17 but Minny drove and scored a TD
49 (missed field goal) - minny scored TD
39 - turnover on downs - 5-35 to go


the rest was them just driving down and scoring a field goal and putting game out of reach.

so two of the bad field positions for defense was because of missed field goals.
one was turnover on downs in late 4th....but on their 39. still bad.
the rest were off of kick offs because Dallas scored
we had one punt, gave them good field goal position, but I think a bit of luck for minny, as we had them pinned deep and they had that punt that rolled all the way to our 3 yard line.

so yeah, couple of times...but mostly not true...like I said perception. this is pretty typical of most NFL games. if the defense needs everything perfect for them, then the issue is the defense.

I am not defending dak, just presenting facts.
 
Could it be phrased like this, and would it be better?

scored 23....and missed to field goals...not every game is going to be perfect, and you take your points...29 points should be enough. even 23 should be enough, but it seems like we have to score 30+ each game just to have a chance, because this defense can't win any ball games. well, I do give them the Philly second half.....

we had one punt. and one turnover on downs late in 4th quarter trying to catch up.

the missed field goals hurt.

the OL was not good. not defending Dak, but if our strength is going deep, 1 to 1.5 seconds before pressure is on you is not enough. Schotty didn't have an answer for cover 0 defense of minny. not sure how many slant routes we ran, but it was no more than the number of fingers in one hand.

He wasn't great but they had WAY more bigger problems than Dak. He played average which was still almost good enough. 1 stop....just 1. Hard to blame Dak when our Defense insist on making average to poor QBs look like HOFs
 
It's like an addiction you just can't recover from. Dak must pay!

That happens when you're constantly having to kick 55+ yarders cause your boy can't move the ball.

You don't "stay right"...

1. If you based that prediction off Dak alone, you'd be wrong. He has the same stats or better than qb's that are on 9+ win team's. Like I said before... teams win games.

2. You also said Dak wouldn't be healthy more than 7 games... its week 16.

3. You also said Overshown wouldn't be the same player... he's been playing better than he ever has.

You're 0-3... you struck out.
