Yet those units can and have been the reason teams win or lose, just like a QB/offense.

So blaming Dak and no one else ignores the multiple problems this team has that contribute to losing.

Yes...we know the defense is horrible. How much more do we have to talk about it? Other issues may not be as critical, but they get their turn too.

You'e on it SteveTheCowboy.......on another post, I liken it like a triage doctor.......bruise (Dak) or broken leg (defense)......which one needs to be handled first or immediately? Now some would call Dak a more severe issue and I'd agree only from the standpoint of him saving a group of senior citizens from a burning building and still get criticism for it. They are fixated, no matter what.

You’re the type that will ignore good QB play and blame it on bad defensive play instead.

Anything to downplay the importance of the QB position to protect Dak.

At what point, for you, does good QB play beat a defense? Are you always going to just go with “oh, that’s just bad defensive play” and never admit that maybe it was good play from the QB?

It’s always funny to me that when we lose a game 37-34 we blame the defense 100%. Meanwhile, our opponents defense gave up 34 points, but their QB still got it done.

But to this...

You keep proving my point as to why the entire team matters. The opposing QB's got it done because their WR's, RB's, kicker's and coaching stepped up.

Sure Dak failed sometimes this season, but only him... everytime? Nah, you can't believe that...

If Dak is so special for this team why did Cooper Rush win games when he was injured? We’re winning in despite of Dak, not because of him. Cooper Rush might suck but a game manager at best won here in the same % Dak did.

First, you need to slow down and digest what you read. I didn't talk bad about Mahomes, nor did I suggest Dak is as good as Mahomes. I merely said you can't judge QB's with an expectation they will be at their best every week, and only used Mahomes as an example. In short, even the best QB's have weeks that aren't their best. THAT was the only message.

Second, if you are a Cowboy fan, as I assume you are because you are on this website, how is it you are unaware that Dak has been playing with O-Line issues all season? RT is the only O-Line position that has had the same starter over the season (and Steele sucks).

So just back up a bit and understand the context, which was that all QB's have weeks that are not their best. It wasn't meant to put down any QB, and in fact my point was the opposite - that it would be wrong to put down a QB based on that.
 
It doesn't matter but I've been a fan for over 50 years and I've been very critical of Prescott but he's not the reason we are losing..not this year

Problem here MoutaineerCowboy......which defense should a QB play against......the opponent's or his own.......but not both! Do points allowed mean anything?

I hope you have enjoyed the 6-7-1 season he has given you so far.

Me and my band will continue expect better from the highest paid player ever.
