If MM could get the Bears job, he wouldn’t have to deal with Jones’ incompetence & interference, and he wouldn’t have a much better upside.
If you were McCarthy, would you resign with Dallas or go to another team?
I think he would jump at the Bears job, if offered. Historic franchise and most think they have a guy that will be a franchise QB in place. If MM could get the Bears job, he wouldn’t have to deal with Jones’ incompetence & interference, and he wouldn’t have a much better upside.
The Bears job is a bad job, worse ownership than here and you think we're stuck in the past the Bears are stuck in WW2. Its a much worse situation than here.I think he would jump at the Bears job, if offered. Historic franchise and most think they have a guy that will be a franchise QB in place.
I would 100% go to another team. first Jerry won't pony up more money. he spends average on coaches. If MM could get the Bears job, he wouldn’t have to deal with Jones’ incompetence & interference, and he wouldn’t have a much better upside.
I agree, and the other thing is expectations in Chicago are less. He could go 10-7 and 11-6 and not be anywhere near a hot seat.I think he would jump at the Bears job, if offered. Historic franchise and most think they have a guy that will be a franchise QB in place.
In no way, shape or form is the Bears a better job.I think he would jump at the Bears job, if offered. Historic franchise and most think they have a guy that will be a franchise QB in place.
I just think some other team will offer MM more money than Jerruh will. jmo.Do I want money? - Then yes, I sign here and squeeze every penny from Jerry.
Do I want to win a SB? - Then no, I stay as far away from Dallas as I can.
Yes, there is one way it is better - no Jerry Jones. Not having Jerry Jones is the single biggest advantage any franchise can have right now. It means they actually have a shot at contending in the future no matter how bleak the current situation may look.In no way, shape or form is the Bears a better job.
They won't. Results are expected everywhere else except in Dallas. You don't get paid for nepotism or GM comfort with other franchises.I just think some other team will offer MM more money than Jerruh will. jmo.
I agree it isn't, but the expectations are much less there too. With the recent lack of success they've had, 10 wins or 11 wins might get a street named after MM.In no way, shape or form is the Bears a better job.
But Jerruh is historically cheap with his Head coach contracts in comparison of what other teams are paying. They won't. Results are expected everywhere else except in Dallas. You don't get paid for nepotism or GM comfort with other franchises.
