I’m not a hater of Dak, just think he he has taken the cowboys to the cleaners twice on contracts, and now the cowboys will not be a great team until 2030 something.

We now have Daks massive contract, that Stephan will keep pushing out, adding more pain in the future.

Really, our front office is just dumb. If you want to overpay your QB, okay, but then really go all in on the supporting cast. How Jerry and Stephan could think out RB room was competitive going into this season is just negligent. How our front office though the interior D line was ready is beyond negligent.

We are a poorly run team, now stuck with a huge QB salary for years to come.

Even if he would accept you can't trade him right now. His Cap hit for cutting or trading are both huge right now. You trade him next year and there is over $100M in dead money hitting your cap. Think that's a smart move?

Dak is not the only problem. he is part of the problem. if people think Dak is the only problem this team has, then they either have an agenda or they are clueless about football. there is no in between

It makes a huge difference. Coaches see players all summer, and they’ve seen the 3rd stringer take almost every snap in preseason. They see him every day. He has not even shown them enough to be #2 a single time. You’d have a better argument about letting Rush play to have Dak watch from the sideline to see if he starts seeing things more clearly. Putting the worst QB on your roster in the game is unfair to the #2 guy, and putting anyone in the game who clearly isn’t as good as the starter is an invitation to every player to just quit. Why risk your health playing all out if the team has given up? The fastest way to lose a team is to play guys who haven’t earned it.

This team needs to play the best guys they can muster and keep working. Until they are mathematically eliminated, everyone needs to keep moving forward. And we have to hope that getting Parsons, DLaw, Bland, Carson, and Cooks back will help.

Jerry won't fire a coach under contract why would he bench a 60 mil qb? You know he's making the decisions. Who else keeps Donovan Wilson as the starter and sits your best rb due to "illness "?
