Furgs last game, played like no rookie. In fact, furgs was breath of fresh air for TE.

What do you suppose can be his next move? Wait and play out the season, hope that Dak's return, will be your stamp for leverage?

I'm regretting I didn't sign a long term deal with more guaranteed money. I think this is Schultz last year with us. These young TEs are impressive and they're rookies on rookie contracts. We just saved 10 million we can throw at Micah and Diggs.

Dalton Schultz has to be feeling pretty lousy right now. Losing Dak for 5 games and him missing time with an injury has made it unlikely that he will get a new contract with the Cowboys. This is why players don’t like the franchise tag. He needed a big season and it hasn’t happened so far.

He hasn't played well either. There have been a few drops and then that false start after we threw a bomb to Noah Brown and were inside our own 20-yard line, at home. He's a one-dimensional tight end who makes mistakes. I'd like to see him benched.
