I think I’m watching my mirror image in Ferguson.
That is part of being a Tight EndI'M LICKING MY CHOPS, #4 IS BACK, he throws me the ball always, even if we have a #1 WR making 20 million, or a better option, I'll get the ball for 5-7 yards to bail Dak out!!
He hasn't played well either. There have been a few drops and then that false start after we threw a bomb to Noah Brown and were inside our own 20-yard line, at home. He's a one-dimensional tight end who makes mistakes. I'd like to see him benched.
Henderson has as many penalties as receptions....after seeing Henderson and Furgs playing some terrific ball. Are you concerned?
Furgs last game, played like no rookie. In fact, furgs was breath of fresh air for TE.
If I'm Schultz, I just saw my contract details enter speculation mode.
What do you suppose can be his next move? Wait and play out the season, hope that Dak's return, will be your stamp for leverage?
Notter things over, and play yer arse off, and hope for the best?

...well, according to some posters. He already makes descent cash. Retire and invest..I'll get paid... just dunno by whom.
Go Cowboys!
Who has played well and hasn’t had a few drops? Our offense hasn’t been anything like it was when Dak was playing at a high level. A lot of players have made mistakes. Schultz has played in some big games and we’re going to need his experience come December and January. We’re not going to get very far this season relying on inexperienced rookies. Schultz will pay some dividends when Dak returns.
He will, it just won't be as much as he was holding out for. He bet on himself and it looks like he is going to lose.I'll get paid... just dunno by whom.

Have good depth at the TE position, so Schultz can come back and find his role again, will strengthen the group when he gets back and into rhythm....after seeing Henderson and Furgs playing some terrific ball. Are you concerned?

How much was he holding out for?He will, it just won't be as much as he was holding out for. He bet on himself and it looks like he is going to lose.
Can’t we just enjoy the season instead of crapping on our own players every chance you get?...after seeing Henderson and Furgs playing some terrific ball. Are you concerned?

It's nice to ever see production from rookie TEs, and we have seen glimpses from two rook TEs out of necessity, but they have been valuable glimpses.I must be watching a different game. Ferguson is a solid blocker and had one nice move but he doesn’t look like half the pass catching threat Schultz is. This is still a passing league no matter how bad Cowboys fans want it to be 1995.
If I’m Schultz, I’m focusing on getting healthy. He’ll be productive with Dak and someone will give him a nice contract.
