There are so many reasons why we shouldn’t watch these clowns, why most of them merely speculate for ratings, why they’re EXACTLY like politicians, and Shannon “Horseface” Sharpe just tried to claim the title as “#1 Pandering ABD Idiot”! What’s worse, pretend Dallas fan Skippy actually agreed! Let me explain.

The players, the team, are doing well, and they’re winning, but the rating$ machine’s thirst for negative Dallas Drama validates their existence. Mike McCarthy’s time management snafus have become the hot topic to dwell on. Plus, he’s overweight, which they’re also using to create the perception of “trouble in paradise”. Everyone KNOWS that fat people are stupid and incompetent, driven only for their gluttonous need for cake and cheeseburgers. Horseface claims that Big Mac made Jaylon Smith defensive Captain for Carolina, then Jerry cuts him on Tuesday, which naturally means that McCarthy is TOTALLY out of the loop. Shannon says he has NO IDEA what’s going on, he’s a bumbling joke, and fake fan Skippy plays along!

The most likely scenario? The NFL is a cold business, and despite Smith’s aloof cockiness, he worked very hard to come back from a impossibly horrific injury. It just didn’t work. McCarthy knew he was gone, and anyone that thinks he didn’t is incredibly gullible. MM was merely saying ‘thank you’, and anyone that thinks otherwise should remember that old Parcells quote…”You’ve been sucked!”

I do not know what qualifies people as experts in the area of sports talking heads. Some don't even watch all of the games.

The best way around this is to focus on sports people that ask questions, not make statements.

Some talking head's opinions have more clout than your own? Because they are paid to do that and you don't even know if that's their actual opinion or one scripted for ratings. It's one thing to watch these people like Cowherd, Bayless, Sharpe and Smith but to believe them? They are all selling something.

The team is playing it's best football in years. And you can see improvement, development, and competition at every level. Night and day from the previous garbage. Plus everyone wants to cry about game management, yet the team played it safe for 10 years with nothing to show for it. At least he has balls and the team in turn will have confidence. Some rather be snipped.

I don't like a lot of the "experts", especially Stephen A, Skip, Shannon and Colin.

But, I don't ignore them.

I can tell you, as someone that spent a long time as a, first Historian, and now as an exec that runs a branch of a multi million dollar company, you should always listen to people that you don't agree with.

Doesn't mean you have to like it. Heck, I read all of Pappy's posts.

I get what you and others here are saying though.

Always find out what the naysayers are saying.
