The playoffs are the elite of the elite. My goal is to eventually win a Super Bowl. When the playoffs start...everyone's record starts out 0-0. And he has YET to really get out the starting blocks. He has been in this position before. And the SAME thing happened. We just finished up a season with ZERO playoff wins. AGAIN!!! What will it take to convince you he can get it done?
You must be talking to someone else because I'm already convinced he can get it done.
The NFL Playoffs are the elite of the elite and those teams are seeded accordingly. Garrett coached the Cowboys to the #1 seed but you ignore this because it is counter to your argument. The rules of the game don't change for the playoff, it's still the same game. Contrary to what you imply, not everyone is on an even plane in the playoffs. Some teams, unlike Garrett's Cowboys don't get a bye week, some teams, unlike Garrett's Cowboys don't get home field advantage... you conveniently don't give Garrett credit for coaching the team to any of those advantages.
Your emotional response isn't compelling because it lacks connecting how the playoff loses were because of Garrett's coaching. Garrett's coaching was good enough to get the team to a 31-31 tie with 35 seconds left in the game. Sometimes it doesn't come down to coaching.
Sometime you just get beat because a Hall of Fame QB makes a Hall of Fame play and that is what happen to us in the end. A player made play.
