General talk that ignores the subtleties.

After Swaim went out and we had Escobar in there, the run game was not quite as strong.

The OL is very good, but it is not a road grading unit that just makes defenses cower.

You can say this OL is not perfect all the time and not insult them.

The key is which TE that McFadden can run behind. That is more of a concern for me.

He is the one who has problems reading blocks and having proper field vision.

If they are not road grating then no one is. If the TE is not blocking well then that leaves an edge sealed or an extra man in pursuit. I don't care if you're OL drives everyone a yard off the los, that is going to be a problem.

Exactly. Lots of deep throws to the younger Witten.

Now in the past 3 or 4 years it's been much less frequent for the older vet. I will say it's nice to *again* have more of that vertical threat at tight end that has diminished with Witten's age.

timb2--- I totally agree with you and i might raise you and say maybe better?...i was watching practice film the last 2 days and man it dont matter how tight the db's cover him because of his size and basketball knowledge of getting position and his crisper running routes he already looks like a pro..in fact let me ask you when you watched his TD's in both practice games...didn't it look like his route running and position and catching ability look professional?...sure did to me

He looks natural at being a TE
