Just for the record, only those in the media that can't see Tony's talent are mediots.

Thats pretty clear that you think they are idiots if they dont agree

PS: Tony looked pretty good today, didn't he?

Did he? name 3 things he done outside of one pass to TO

I do think the mediots are, not the forumites, sorry.

Mediots don't have the cojones to make a bold statement that Tony Romo, just might be the future QB of the Cowboys. They did it when Henson was coming and came on board didn't they?

Instead they treat Tony like the unwanted stepchild. Almost all the local and national media are "cordial" in their coverage of Tony Romo; you'll find about 90% more stories about Henson than you will about Romo. Romo is an afterthought with many. And many Romo stories are about his golf game.
But NOWHERE is there any bonafide facts that prove that Henson is or was so much better than Romo to deserve all that media coverage and the annointing or "psuedo" annointing if you wish.

Shame on them! These reporters have tremendous access to players, coaches, stafff, film, inside sources, etc. that we don't have access to.

About the only reporter I have heard come close to annointing Tony Romo as the future QB is Babe Laufenberg.(notice I didn't call him a mediot). I am surprised JJT hasn't stepped up and loaded onto the Romo wagon, he's a pretty sharp guy. Blackistone, Mickey and good ol' Matt Mosely, I think, are inching over to the Romo side even as i am writing this.

And about the three things Tony Romo has done today; I bet he had breakfast this morning, brushed his teeth and went to the bathroom-not necessarily in that order.

you are correct sir, in that Mr Bledsoe tends to hold the ball too long at times.

but to say Romo would have led us to 3 or 4 more victories last season is hilarious (IMO)....One more thing, for all WE know, this Mroz kid has all the "moxie" that Romo supposedly has with a bigger arm. So what would stop him from EVENTUALLY(not exactly this season) pushing your boy Romo to the back of the QB line?...

excellent reply.

Why do you state, "to say Romo would have led us to 3 0r 4 more victories last season is hilarious"? So then you are of the majority that there is now way in heck that Romo could of done this because of his lack of talent or because of the lack of talent around him?

And about Mroz, he looks like a keeper at this point. More talent already than Henson IMHO...and that "bigger arm" comment most of you guys use is starting to get old. How do you know Mroz has a "bigger arm" than Tony already?

Are the mediots at it again, pimping Mroz over Romo?

Makes no sense at all

So these are the 3 things that gave you the opinion that Romo "looked good today"? You must be a superb talent evaluator

1. Simple, grasshopper. Bill Parcells knows Romo's talent better than any of us. He sees Romo's talent and so do I, even though I have only seen him in pre-season games.

2. You and your friends (including the mediots) statement,"Romo has thrown ZERO NFL passes tells me you are not very knowledgeable when it comes to judging talent, I will leave it at that.

In reality, Romo has thrown a few NFL passes in pre-season. But you OVERLOOK the talent he possessess that some of you just don't see. TheTuna calls it Moxie...that's the best way to put it. I see the kid's Moxie, don't you?

(can someone posts Romo's preseason stats I would like to see them)

I want a great Qb just like anyone here. My knock on Bledsoe, he holds the ball too long, you know that. We would have won at least three or four MORE games if Romo had been playing. I am DEAD SERIOUS!

Romo is S-M-O-O-O-O-T-H.
The guy is in control. He makes a mistake and he comes right back and hits a few, doesn't chicken out, he produces. He marches the team downfield. The guy's a leader--a true field general. That's what I have seen.

Many of you choose to only see that he came from a small college, has a weak arm, looks uncomfortable.

I see championship caliber talent oozing from the kid.

Better yet, check this out:
Tony(the talented racehorse), Parcells (the trainer) just happens to be holding the reins on his thoroughbred and will run him in the big race at the right time. The horse hasn't been run in any official races yet, but in practice, the horse outruns all the other horses most of the time. The trainer KNOWs the horse will win many races for him.

The OWNER (Jerry) wants to give his current horse (Bledsoe) every opportuniy to win the big one, mostly because of respect for what the old horse has done in the past and he still plays a good game. And he won't retire the legendary horse until things get really bad.

But the fact is the other racehorse is just as good OR better, but is not his time yet.

Bill will not hesitate to yank Bledsoe this year...Book it!

I ususally don't post, but i read here all the time...but dang I fell out on the floor when i read this....PURE. COMEDY. lol lol lol lol lol:laugh2:

No, what I am saying is that there is NO FRICKIN' WAY to KNOW that he would have led us to 3 or 4 more victories than Bledsoe did last season. But the proof is in the video of certain games that IF there would have been a GOOD FG kicker(like Vandy) on the roster last season the Cowboys WOULD/COULD have won 3 or 4 more games. You putting the blame for the lack of 3 or 4 more win last season on who the starting QB was is what is hilarious IMO.

And as for "how do you know Mroz has a 'bigger arm' than Tony already?", well my reply to that is...

How do you know he doesn't?
